D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Shakir is going to be triple teamed looking at that receiving crew. My God that looks weak. 1 1 Quote

sven233 Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Look....I get it. They see these guys day in and day out and we don't so we can't see for ourselves what is happening in practice. But, I just don't understand why Hamler can't get a shot. A guy like Shavers gets called up multiple times and I am not sure he has made more than 1 or 2 catches for us. I actually can't think of any off the top of my head. Hamler, although he has battled through a ton of injuries, was at one point a 2nd round pick, showed that, when healthy anyways, that he could make plays in this league. He offers elite speed that is lacking on this team as well. Now do I expect any of these guys to have any type of a major impact on this team or in this game, including Hamler? No. I don't. But I guess I would like to see a different element in the offense to see what it looks like. I wouldn't be even bringing this up if we were getting anything of note from Samuel, but when we are lining up with Shakir and Hollins as our 2 top WRs, I am more apt to want to swing for the fences with a guy we haven't seen that does at least offer something different. Whatever, though. Like I said, they see these guys every day and know what they offer. There must be a reason they like Shavers better even though he hasn't offered much on the field. I am guessing it's probably that Shavers is a better blocker in the run game, but call me crazy, I'd like my WRs to catch the ball once in a while as well. But hey, that's just me. I was completely expecting this to happen, so it's not a surprise at all. 1 Quote

Speaking of $8M, I would like to see Von Miller appear on the stat sheet. Maybe even record a sack just for the heck of it. You do know he has 3 sacks this year in only 5 games, right? Quote

You(we) have no idea what goes on in practice and what the coaches see. Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted November 10 Posted November 10 I don't understand why you elevate a guy from the PS and then make him inactive? What is the point? Quote

Big Turk Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Playing it safe with Cooper...I mean we shouldn't need him this week but hopefully he is on track for next week when we really could use him. 2 minutes ago, Ethan in Cleveland said: I don't understand why you elevate a guy from the PS and then make him inactive? RyanC883 Posted November 10 Posted November 10 this WR group is weak. should have added another at trade deadline. Hopefully the RB’s and Kincaid step up Quote
Steptide Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Been saying it all week, and I'll keep saying it. Utilize Ray Davis in the pass game. 2 1 Quote
frostbitmic Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Chalking one up in the W column and not adding anyone to the injury list would make for a good day. GO Bills !!! 1 Quote
NickelCity Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Samuel might just show up today. (One can hope) 1 Quote

As others have said probably weren’t sure on Samuel. It also gives hamler a game check to also keep him happy. With Virgil being elevated to the 53 and shavers also getting called up multiple times probably wanted to gives hamler some incentive to keep working hard and get a little pay bump Quote
NickelCity Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Phillips over Ankou is an interesting one for the locker room. Eli can't be happy. Quote
