The Cowboys need to blow up their team and start over. They suck even with their starters. But they don't suck enough to get a high draft pick. Just enough to be mediocre and keep spinning their wheels.

That describes the Bills from about 2000 to 2017.

You get locked into a vicious cycle of mediocrity which is hard to break out of.

Somehow, this will be a reason to talk even MORE about the Cowboys, and that is truly a shame.

Dak: You mean I can opt out of the rest of this season? Sign me up.

Sounds weird.   Poor guy - he is going the Watson way

I wonder what this means for ceedee fantasy owners like myself.

dak is suppose to he a decent human being, but he is a journey man qb. does not deserve that contract whatsoever. I’d rather have darnold or baker than him

A journey man QB is usually a QB that floats around the league with occasional starts.  He's pry in the 10 to 13 range as far as starting QB's go.

Except the Bills didn't make the playoffs over that stretch whereas the Cowboys usually do.

Can you imagine how relieved Prescott must be today, to be off that dysfunctional train wreck of a team for the rest of their miserable year?

And he never even had to actually tell jones to fu*# off.  Probably will just mouth that today if on the sideline.

Can someone explain the dead cap impact of Dallas trading away Dak. I think there would be a number of takers who would trade at least one first to assume the 60m contract to have a top 15 QB. I don’t understand what the cap implications to Dallas would be.

Cowboys would be wise to start Lance. When he sucks they get a better draft pick; if he some how is decent then they can trade him.

Last year of his contract
