It was so obvious. Not sure how the refs on the field didn't see it the same way as the fans and now the NFL front office.

As absurd as it sounds, a common refrain on the Dolphins forum is how the refs/NFL are working against them. Some even blamed their loss to the Bills on the refs. 
 

Lolphins fans are some of the worst in the league, imo.

Atrocious officiating last weekend. This bad call doesn't even stick in my mind as much as the back to back phantom holding calls.

Because the back judge made the call and could not see everything and should not have guessed on call.

Someone said to me in a conversation the other day when I mentioned what you have also said, “they’ll hesitate on way more calls”. 
 

My response being that is probably something you want. Them being entirely sure that the correct call is being made. 
 

I can’t believe they make the refereeing gig a full time job as all the nuances that go along with it from the NFL’s standpoint so the most beneficial was to prevent errors is dock them monetarily for incorrect calls. Especially the egregiously wrong ones. 
 

Better yet, if they have a review panel like we are led to believe, how are so many blatant calls missed whether they pocket the flag or change the call incorrectly several times. 
 

They can’t all be Mike Carey or John Parry but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be the expectation.

Poyer also fined $11,193 for hit on Coleman. And cornerback Cam Smith fined $8,874 for horse collar, although I don't recall if that was flagged at the time.

Hopefully we got a hand written and heart felt letter of apology from Goodell. That will make it all better.

Why isn’t this a play that’s reviewed? Head shot, personal foul that on review would be reversed. Seems logical

The game was riddled with very egregiously inaccurate calls against Buffalo.

That's the benefit of Rapp being smart (unlike Tua) and wearing a Guarding cap.

 

We truly beat both The Refs and The Dolphins last Sunday.
