Kincaid Kool-Aid
Will be in town for Thanksgiving and planning to grab tickets to the SNF 49ers game. At the moment, hoping to avoid driving and parking at the stadium since I imagine I'll be having a few drinks. That said, from what I can tell, getting an Uber from the stadium, especially after a night game sounds like it could be a pretty long and miserable experience. Curious if anyone can confirm or deny? Another option that is coming up is the NFTA express bus service: https://metro.nfta.com/schedules/game-day-express. Looks like it would get you back to Downtown Buffalo in about 35 minutes. Anyone ever use this option, and if so curious how it worked out (especially if you've used it after a night game)? Thanks! djp14150
They have the buses post game but the buses are part of the traffic flow. How long to get back to downtown will likely be longer than the scheduled time

machine gun kelly
OP, TBDers quick response. It’s a good idea after that night game to not get behind the wheel, not that it’s ever a good idea. Just have fun and don’t worry about it. You’ll have a blast.

EmotionallyUnstable
It’s been a few years since I was a STH, but before the responsibilities of family life allowed me to live it up, we’d always pack an extra meal for the grill. We’d post game tail gate while we listened to GR or had the occasional TV for later games hooked up. I always enjoyed this, especially after a win. SNF is probably not realistic for this but I always much preferred it to sitting in traffic Edited Sunday at 03:38 AM by EmotionallyUnstable

US Egg
Is it possible to arrange an Uber to pick one up a mile away from the stadium after a game?

I believe so. Walk to target(it’ll be closed) and order one it’s right off 219 and can quickly get in and out.

ProcessImproverMan
Park either on one of the sub division side streets off of Parker road (Parker is off of Big Tree) across from Erie Community College many hours before the game (free street parking but fills up early) or park on someone's lawn off of Parker advertising paid parking. A quick left on Parker out of that sub division or one of those houses on Parker and head the opposite direction of ECC (head towards Hamburg down Parker). Eventually you will get to Bayview Road. Make a right there, go to the intersection of McKinley, Bayview and Sowles and from there wherever you need to go. You can get to Parker by reversing this route to avoid stadium traffic going into the game Pretty easy walk (about 15 minutes) and many people go that route.. It’s a 20 minute walk from the stadium, no sidewalk but, lawns are wide and loads of Bills fans are walking on them back to the lots along Abbott. Only drawback was snow, lawns be covered, plow hills, then it’s a definite safety concern.

Only drawback was snow, lawns be covered, plow hills, then it’s a definite safety concern. I’ve done the walk to and from target a bunch. It’s sketchy for sure. Like you said no sidewalks most of the way and with snow makes it even worse. I’d walk up a hill to the lot to cut off walking all the way to the light. Fell a few times in the snow. But if you don’t want to go to the Uber lot I feel that’s your best option. If you’re close to the stadium they’ll send you to the Uber lot. Once you get a little farther out they’ll be stuck in traffic or in able to get down certain roads. Target plaza parking lot I feel gives the driver a clear way to you and you should be far enough away where they won’t make you go to the lot. I’ve driven Uber after games when I parked at target and picked up passengers from there. But yes it is a hike and can be dangerous. So be careful and pay attention. BananaB
I got a taxi one time to the tailgate, told buddy I’d pay double on the way back if he came back after the game. He told us where to meet him to get an easy out.
Maine-iac
When I flew in for a game I used rally bus to get picked up downtown and get back to downtown. They let you store tailgating stuff under the bus and you don't have to pay for parking. https://rally.co/bills-49ers
