Bills at Colts 1998

So, I have been suspended for most of this season and then had to wait a whole month longer to be able to post. I was cleared the day before the Dolphins game but decided to just wait until this week to bring back this series I have had going the last few seasons. It's the series of posting old Bills games against our next opponent where we are playing them the current week. This week to start it off for the year, I am going with Bills at Colts from 1998. The reason why I chose this is because it was the last time the Bills beat the Colts in Indianapolis. Doug Flutie came in for Rob Johnson who got hurt very early in the game and lead the Bills to a victory. This game was also against a very young Peyton Manning in his rookie year. I was 12 when this game was played and Manning played until I was 30 lol. Crazy to think about it like that. But this was also the start of Flutie mania in Buffalo. And the 2nd of 5 straight wins after an 0-3 start thay year to work our way into the playoffs. There are 2 videos here. One goes from the start of the game until part of the 3rd quarter. The 2nd video is of the rest of the 3rd and all of the 4th. It annoys me that the NFL blocks 26 year old games from being posted but Sit back and enjoy. It's good to be posting these again. As always. Go Bills!!!

Don't need to know what you did, but welcome back 🙂

Don't be personal, political, stay on thread topic for this site & you should be alright going forward.

Go Bills!

If you get suspended for not staying on thread topic there would be no one left.

This brings back unfortunate memories of a painful Bills loss where they could have won at Indy a little bit more recently.  2006 at Indy against the eventual champion Colts.  The Bills only lost by a point.  Lindell missed a field goal with about 6 minutes to go.  Granted, if he makes it, Peyton probably brings the Colts back down the field and they win on a FG anyway, but still, what could have been against a team who would go on to win it all.  The Bills lost heartbreakers at Indy and at NE in 06.

I know the Bills with Rob Johnson had a game where they converted the longest 4th down in history against the Colts.

But it was in 2001 not 1998.

At this point nobody remembers the Bills got blown out that day but that record still stands!!  kinda cool

This goes down as the only good thing that Johnson ever did for the Bills while employed by them .

I have no recollection of that Lindell kick lol. I've blocked out a lot of those drought years lol
