Son of a K-Gun Posted December 4 Posted December 4 7 hours ago, beerme1 said: Why would Hyde be on a pitch count if Milano wasn't? Hyde has said he will always be in gameday shape and I don't doubt that for a minute from him. Hyde is in great shape at all times. Sal C said so. Did you know Micah got up one morning and ran TEN KILOMETRES???? Please Sal, tell us that story one more time like running a 10K around your neighbourhood is the height of fitness. 1
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted December 4 Posted December 4 Has it actually happened? I haven't seen anything actually saying that Hyde was signed but there a sudden burst of buzz

Cash Posted December 4 Posted December 4 I just voted yes, but I only kinda mean it. I moreso think there’s still a realistic path to him coming back. Right now, my best guess is that he only comes back if someone gets hurt, and even then maybe not if they think Cole Bishop is ready.
JimBob2232 Posted December 4 Posted December 4 Ya - I don’t know. I love Micah. I don’t want to disrupt flow. As long as he is a backup and there so he is ready to fill in if we have a gap - I’m okay with it. 1
VaMilBill Posted December 4 Posted December 4 What would the plan be for him? Would he step in as a starter right away? Or would they just have him on the PS ready to be elevated in case of injury?
Kelly to Allen Posted December 4 Posted December 4 3 minutes ago, VaMilBill said: What would the plan be for him? Would he step in as a starter right away? Or would they just have him on the PS ready to be elevated in case of injury? I didn't see any lost speed from Hyde last year unlike poyer who definitely lost speed. He ran down achane for Miami last year. Obviously he kept getting stingers from the neck issue. My guess is that the Drs have said he can play x amount of games before the stingers come back which probably means he practices obviously for a good month and gets some reps before the playoffs start. Then it's full go imo. He's still an outstanding center fielder But this is all speculation 10 minutes ago, JimBob2232 said: Ya - I don’t know. I love Micah. I don’t want to disrupt flow. Back2Buff Posted December 4 Posted December 4 He aint better than Hamlin at this point, but he is probably better than Bishop. I dont see him ever being used unless Hamlin goes down.
