Leads the team in PDs 5, tied for lead in INTs with 2, second in tackles with 47.  Yeah, Hamlin blows donkey dick.

Yes, he does.

I saw that hilarious tweet too.

Tackling someone 40 yards downfield after you took your 12th bad angle of the game doesn’t impress me.

This was old homies week with the signing of Phillips and Jefferson. I think they'll add more old homies before the season ends and Hyde would be on the top of the list. He probably only has a few games left so I could see them having him ready by January for a playoff push.

Hyde will make a Super Bowl start.

Could be, but Game shape and gym / working out shape aren’t the same thing, and that won’t make him younger and with that, faster…,

Hyde is a safety, not in the trenches.  Being in game shape is overrated for them.  Secondly, of course he won't be younger but he will be less banged up, less injured, and that is more important.

I hope this is a case of the Bills incorporating a load management type of plan.

Get Hyde in here for the end of the season and the playoffs.  I'm with those thinking it would be a huge upgrade over Hamlin.

Yeah, I’ll give you that, he may well be an upgrade over Hamlin,

If he is brought in he will be brought in a third safety not to replace Hamlin.

I think the intent will be to replace Hamlin but will be done in a face saving kind of way.  Maybe even let Hamlin start and work Hyde in, and then eventually (playoff time)  have the switch happen (maybe some type of hamstring injury for Hamlin).

Hamlin has done better than expected IMO.  He beat out M Edwards somehow (M Edwards must have had problems as has the rookie).  And Hamlin has some good stats, but the eye test kind of makes the stats look like fortunate Forrest Gump like coincidences.  He took Tua out with what looked like a rather soft hit.  One of the interceptions was an incredible overthrow.  Most of the time he looks slow, lanky, soft, and indecisive -it's just not a good look for a starting safety.

Hamlin certainly has room to improve, but why use that play, when he's on the far side of the field, to make your point? It would have been a highlight reel play had he gotten involved in that play.

Bad Neck is all.  He is not old by safety standards and I don't think is slow either

He's been slow most of his career. He played like an old man when he was 29. Dude's beyond washed.

The other INT (vs TN is garbage time) was a vulture INT - he wasn't the cause of it.

No.

At the end of the season I think this becomes just another "story" the Buffalo media kept alive all year for nothing.

I think there's a good chance he's back next year, but with a whistle around his neck ..not a helmet non his head

he's dogging it in that play---jogging over.

He also seemed to be jogging when he blitzed Flacco yesterday, or at least he ran with little urgency. I don't think he's awful, but he's definitely the weakest starter, and that's including Epenesa and Williams. If Hyde came back and played like that, people would say, "See? He's washed. Old and slow."
