It’s not Jackson.  He’s never been activated once

 

Neither has Lewis Cine. But those are the Safeties on the Practice Squad. And with the open spots on the roster made at DT with IR'ing DeWayne Carter and releasing Zion Logue having been replaced by Quinton Jefferson and Jordan Phillips - i'd assume the roster spot opened by releasing Mike Edwards would be replaced by Jackson or Cine.

 

The other option I could see is Kingsley Jonathan replacing Dawuane Smoot's spot in the DE Room. But much like I don't think 6 DT's are necessary (thus the release of Logue), I'm not sure we need 6 DE's with Miller having returned to the roster. Again, I'd think it's Safety with us having only 3 true Safeties on the roster right now.

So he wouldn’t have a problem filling in for Edwards not being active.

Jackson is a 12 year vet. I'm sure he knows how to play. Can he is another question.

Jefferson is a tweener so I think adding another DL over kill. Nobody's mentioned it but with injuries at WR it wouldn't shock me.

Yea they could go a couple different routes. Would think it would be a safety but Cam Lewis can be the # 4 without deactivating a guy. 
 

Wide Receiver makes sense. Virgil seems like the guy since he will have been called up for the 3rd time and they seek to like him enough

With Logue cut (will he go to the PS) and Coleman's injury, there could be two roster spots open for players.  S and WR have to be on the list.

I would presume safety unless they think Coleman is out for maybe 2 weeks but back after the bye in which case not worth IR'ing but need some depth in the meantime?

Joe Marino just crushed this guy.  Basically said he is awful.

 

 

If he does land on the Bills PS I wonder if this staff can develop him into a halfway decent rotational player. Men of that size and athletic ability are genetic freaks. You have to wonder if it is coaching and technique that are holding him back.
