sleeby Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Should we bite? Ngakoue has spent nine seasons in the NFL. During that time, he has secured 70.5 sacks and 229 total tackles. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 2017 as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he secured six forced fumbles, 12 sacks, and 30 total tackles Quote
HappyDays Posted November 7 Posted November 7 No we already have enough situational pass rushers. 3 1 3 Quote
Big Turk Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Javon Solomon likely offers more than him right now 8 12 Quote
Antonio Posted November 7 Posted November 7 I remember we all wanted him a couple of years ago, did he declined that bad? 1 minute ago, Antonio said: I remember we all wanted him a couple of years ago, did he declined that bad? wow didnt realize it was 2020 when he hit FA. Looking at his stats after that he had: 2020 8 sacks Vikings and Ravens 2021 10 sacks Raiders 2022 9.5 Colts 2023 4 sacks Bears 2024 1.5 Ravens 2 1 Quote

Royale with Cheese Posted November 7 Posted November 7 I swear this guy has played in the NFL since like 1997. 2 Quote
Logic Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Nah, he appears to be cooked. There's a reason the Ravens are releasing him. I'd rather give the snaps to Javon Soloman. 2 8 Quote

Malazan Posted November 7 Posted November 7 No, but I would like to revisit all the people upset we didn't sign in the offseason. Quote
GunnerBill Posted November 7 Posted November 7 7th team to let him go in 5 years. Reason? He is a low effort liability if you ask him to do anything other than just pin his ears back every play. Hideously overrated. 2 4 1 Quote
machine gun kelly Posted November 7 Posted November 7 1 hour ago, Big Turk said: Javon Solomon likely offers more than him right now Agreed Turk. Yannick has been tailing off and we already have Von for a situational pass rusher. We’re probably rolling with who we have. The only guess add is bringing back Micah. He adds needed depth if he’s willing to accept that role. I’d think it’s better before his career is completely over. He can help for a half dozen games. Otherwise these other options are pipe dreams. It’s not by accident we brought two DT’s back who know our system. JP admitted to Sal yesterday he didn’t fit the Cowboys strategy and the best play JP ever had was here. Nowhere else. Jefferson is just an emergency option as he didn’t do much last time, but we need bodies and had the space. 1 Quote

blacklabel Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Nah, I think he's at the tail end of his career here. I don't believe he offers much more than a guy like Solomon (as many others have stated) or even like a Kingsley Jonathan. I'd rather roll with those guys. I'm hopeful Solomon takes the Khalil Shakir route where his first couple seasons have more of a limited role but by year three he's 100% ready to ball out as a starter. The only knock on the guy is he's a smidge undersized, other than that he's very talented. 1 Quote

Then before the game feed him Gatorade spiked with amphetamines while showing him a photoshopped picture of Mahomes taking his mother from behind. 1 1 2 Quote

I feel he’s going to be very good Dolphins scored from 8 yards out by running right at him after smoot went down. Hes not ready yet against the run from what I can tell. I also feel hes going to be very good. Hes just getting reached too easily right now. Look at how Javon gets reached at 7:30 versus how Groot fights it off at 13:00. Part of that is body composition but Solomon is gonna need to figure that out before he can do more than rush in obvious passing plays (though he should def get more of those chances). WotAGuy Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Until someone can show me he played for the Panthers, that’s a no for me dawg. 3 Quote
dpberr Posted November 7 Posted November 7 He's like Hasson Reddick in an older body. He only wants to rush the passer, so he's not going to set an edge or do any of that "tackling" stuff. Quote
