So by a 3% margin, voters saw democracy's saviors as the bigger threat.

Is trumps presidency over? Did I miss something? Did he fulfill all his promises already? Crazy, I must have taken a 4 year nap. A lot of governing to do. With that idiot and the clown show in charge I would be careful how much you pound your chest. All I heard from both sides was that the election was too close to call. Obviously polls were wrong, no shocker there. There is an entire thread on how polls are useless.

Bankruptcies are at an all time high now, but who’s keeping track. I know Harris would have fixed the current administrations bankruptcy issues if only she could have made it to the White House. Oh wait….

Sure.  Trump still has to do a good job and return this country to a position of strength.  Maybe he succeeds...maybe he doesn't.  Nothing is a given.

I’m talking the govt filing for bankruptcy. That is how trump runs his business. Steal steal steal and file. I worked with a guy who did this. He was in way over his head, drowning in debt. He knew he was going to file, what did he do first? Go out and buy expensive store equipment an engine hoist (I don’t think the idiot knew how to work on a car) furniture for his house. No intention of paying for any of it. That is stealing. That is trump, how he runs his business. That is all he knows. That is how he added 8 trillion to the debt his last term. America signed up for more of that lol.

The US government cannot go bankrupt. Because the Treasury's ability to create money and debt is unconstrained. They systematically erode the purchasing power of each unit of currency. Both parties do this. Regardless of Trump or Harris this is going to continue. What it means to you and me is the purchasing power of each unit of currency we hold in our wallets or earn is going to fall. But other issues decided the 2024 vote.
