Regardless of the outcome, we're still right about everything but the voters are stupid and screwed up electing Trump, er I mean Hitler 2.0. Never have so many smart people turned out to be so dumb.  I posted it in another thread, but I'll mention it here, too. Look at the exit polling data on 'threat to democracy'. That narrative totally backfired on the Dems. 73% agreed with that narrative..except they voted FOR Trump 51-48%.  https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-elections/exit-polls 2

Is trumps presidency over? Did I miss something? Did he fulfill all his promises already? Crazy, I must have taken a 4 year nap. A lot of governing to do. With that idiot and the clown show in charge I would be careful how much you pound your chest. All I heard from both sides was that the election was too close to call. Obviously polls were wrong, no shocker there. There is an entire thread on how polls are useless. 13 minutes ago, Brandon said:  I posted it in another thread, but I'll mention it here, too. Look at the exit polling data on 'threat to democracy'. That narrative totally backfired on the Dems. 73% agreed with that narrative..except they voted FOR Trump 51-48%.  https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-elections/exit-polls So this tells me they are willing to give up democracy for cheaper gas and eggs.  If trump truly turns out to be a threat to democracy you will get your civil war. 1 1

Does the White House have to be registered on the nation sex offenders register now?
thronethinker Posted November 8 Posted November 8 (edited) All I know is now I am a misogynist because in their minds I voted for Trump because the other candidate was a woman. I have to think and act the way they do or I am labeled by them. Pretty hypocritical thinking on their part is it not? Edited November 8 by thronethinker 3

All that matters is what happens in the future. From what I he l saw with exit polls was the #1 issues was the economy. Yes I’m sure other stuff mattered to different people. Stupidly, people think trump is a great businessman and the govt can be run like a business. Get ready to file for bankruptcy. Edited November 8 by 4th&long 1

I know Harris would have fixed the current administrations bankruptcy issues if only she could have made it to the White House. Oh wait….

Get ready to file for bankruptcy.  Sure. Trump still has to do a good job and return this country to a position of strength. Maybe he succeeds...maybe he doesn't. Nothing is a given. Â
thronethinker Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Apparently the Democrats strategy of running for president and acting like you weren’t already elected 3.5 years ago didn’t work.Â

Tommy Callahan Posted November 8 Posted November 8 It's kind of funny seeing the left claim to be the rebels, the anti establishment. If your the ground game for a 10 billion dollar run, your not a rebel. Your a tool. https://search.app?link=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.opensecrets.org%2Fnews%2F2024%2F10%2Ftotal-2024-election-spending-projected-to-exceed-previous-record%2F&utm_campaign=aga&utm_source=agsadl1%2Csh%2Fx%2Fgs%2Fm2%2F4  1

That is how trump runs his business. Steal steal steal and file. I worked with a guy who did this. He was in way over his head, drowning in debt. He knew he was going to file, what did he do first? Go out and buy expensive store equipment an engine hoist (I don’t think the idiot knew how to work on a car) furniture for his house. No intention of paying for any of it. That is stealing. That is trump, how he runs his business. That is all he knows. That is how he added 8 trillion to the debt his last term. America signed up for more of that lol. 1

Because the Treasury's ability to create money and debt is unconstrained. They systematically erode the purchasing power of each unit of currency. Both parties do this. Regardless of Trump or Harris this is going to continue. What it means to you and me is the purchasing power of each unit of currency we hold in our wallets or earn is going to fall. But other issues decided the 2024 vote.    1
