I don't know anything about your relationship with your leader, but it sounds unhealthy to me to trust anyone to that degree.  I think that terms like "landslide" are used conversationally and most normal people don't hear "landslide" when used politically,  immediately run to a dictionary, compare usage to meaning, and walk away thinking "cult".  They might agree, or disagree, or not care a whit, but beyond that, who cares?

 

It's like...saying you "went to college with Susan Collins" but in reality you went there 3 years after she graduated.
