What would you call someone who was told by their leader to try and tell you it's bright and sunny outside when it's pouring rain? Probably a cult because clearly it's apparent to anyone paying attention to reality what the truth is/was.  So to be in denial of reality while supporting someone else's "alternative facts" clearly screams cult.

I don't know anything about your relationship with your leader, but it sounds unhealthy to me to trust anyone to that degree.  I think that terms like "landslide" are used conversationally and most normal people don't hear "landslide" when used politically,  immediately run to a dictionary, compare usage to meaning, and walk away thinking "cult".  They might agree, or disagree, or not care a whit, but beyond that, who cares?

There is no political war. This is a financial war. Namely, the rich doing what they need to with the economy so that distressed middle class assets will be snapped up for pennies on the dollar by them when it is all said and done.
