Big Blitz Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Do the Steelers have 4 wins on their schedule? Man I don’t think so…. Steelers 6-2 At Washington Vs Baltimore At Browns At Bengals Vs Browns At Eagles At Ravens Vs Chiefs Vs Bengals 1 1 1 Quote

Awwufelloff Posted November 8 Posted November 8 (edited) People made fun of the bucs for not going for 2 against the chiefs. The Bengals did and look what happened…there is no right answer for that. It’s a coin flip… Edited November 8 by Awwufelloff 1 1 Quote

Yup....I put him on the bench to go with Tua because I expected this game to be in the teens most of the way. My worst decision of the season so far. It's a Super Flex league so I still have Allen to play, but with the WRs we are going to be fielding, I am not sure that is going to go well. Just a terrible decision by me. Quote

All those pointless deep shots to Burton will go to a real WR whose specialty is downfield catches if we face them in the playoffs. That offense is a complete nightmare to defend with our scheme/philosophy. I want no part of it. 2 3 Quote

On a side note, the Ravens showed why I always say to hold, hold, hold late in games. Refs forget they have a flag when it’s a close contested game because they don’t want to ruin it. Play physical and hold. 1 Quote

It’s a coin flip… I think every team should have 2 or 3 "go for two" plays that they practice every week and have down perfect. It should be so smooth that it's basically automatic. I guarantee you that the KC Chiefs do this and could score a 2 point conversion with their eyes closed. That 2 point play the Bengals ran was vanilla and easy to defend. 1 Quote

Big Blitz Posted November 8 Posted November 8 A 9-8 WC team is getting in it will come down to tiebreakers. I think it goes: 5. Chargers 6. Broncos 7. Bengals Gimme the 2 seed! Cincy is not built to win in Buffalo in January - NO MIXON. They can’t run the ball. The teams that can pound it worry me. 2 1 Quote

Would not shock me if they beat Washington this weekend, and then I think their defense is going be one of the toughest challenges the Ravens will have faced yet. That’s definitely a brutal schedule for them down the stretch though. Quote

I probably would’ve gone for two in both cases for slightly different reasons…I don’t think there was any way cincy was preventing a Baltimore fg on that last drive to even get to OT so might as well give themselves some kind of chance to win Edited November 8 by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote

Cinci can't run the ball anymore and their best back is a finesse back. As we were reminded in week 5, Joe Mixon isn't with the Bengals anymore. They're a poor running team. AND, their defense isn't as good as it was when they beat us in 2022. 1 Quote

They have True #1 WR. Your comments have zero to do with the Cinci-induced PTSD from the 2022 Divisional Round Game. When we lost to them in the playoffs, they ran the ball down our throats with Joe Mixon. That team doesn't exist anymore. Furthermore their defense isn't half as good as it was then (when their DC was being mentioned for Head Coaching positions). Finally we do really well against Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle... I'm not afraid that Cinci's gonna light us up through the air. In 2 career games against us, Chase hasn't done anything. I'd much rather face Cinci in the playoffs than the Ravens and that's what the discussion was about. People keep saying Cinci's a bad matchup for us... I fail to see that argument. 3 1 Quote

Assuming KC gets the #1 seed, if we want the Ravens to knock KC out (or vice versa), hope that PIT wins the AFCN. In that scenario the lower seed, if it’s BAL as a 5, would then go to Arrowhead and we’d get the Steelers or Texans in the divisional, whoever finishes #3. 3 Quote
julian Posted November 8 Posted November 8 36 minutes ago, Billsatlastin2018 said: Completely untrue. Division, yes! But Cinci closes with stiffs… and teams they can beat- Dallas, Tennessee, Denver, Cleveland + LA Chargers and Steelers- twice! The problem for Bengals is other teams look at their schedule and see Cincinnati as one of the stiffs… they’re not a good team. 1 Quote
