Burrow and their offense worries me more in the playoffs than the Ravens (W4 result notwithstanding). Thoughts? Agree. All i care about is the Bills in January and i don't think they match up well with Cinci and Burrow. Let the Ravens and Steelers battle it out for the division and BURY the Bengals. 5 Quote

I am going Ravens...What I don't want is to have BOTH Ravens and Bengals to make the playoffs. Having one of them, in this case, hopefully the Bengals given they currently are under .500, miss the playoffs would be a best case scenario. So looking at Ravens tonight to win this game and keep Bengals on bubble and getting close to needing to win out to get in. If Burrow wins tonight, he should get more MVP buzz. He doesn’t have a HOF running back creating a huge diversion like Lamar does. Quote
RyanC883 Posted November 7 Posted November 7 i wish the 2 seed still had a bye week. I’d rather see Ravens in playoffs than Cincy. Pit also worries me. Quote
DrBob806 Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Cincy. The Ratbird franchise is just sickening, & shouldn't exist. Quote

If it’s avoiding one or the other, the Chiefs have to be the choice. I can’t believe how many people are afraid of the Bengals. They’re a bad football team. 1 Quote

I agree, they are fundamentally flawed - their lines are both poor. But people are scared because they know Burrow can just get hot with those receivers. 2 Quote

However, would love to put more distance between Ravens for seeding...and also, and this can't be overstated, I really really don't want the Jets to make the playoffs. If Cincinnati is out there aren't many teams between the Jets and playoffs. If Bengals lose and Bills beat the Colts, and the Jets win, they would be tied for 8th in the AFC. They would only trail Denver...and I don't trust the Broncos. The Jets are 3-6 with 8 games left. While it's true that the Jets have an easy schedule, expecting them to win at least 6 of their next 8 games seems a big ask for such a dysfunctional team. They play at the Cardinals this week which doesn't seem as easy a win as it did at the beginning of the season. Moreover, they have to play the Tua-le Fins twice, the surging Rams, and the Bills at Highmark. Of those 5 games, they could easily go 1-4, and IMO they're more likely to go 0-5 rather than 3-2. BigDingus Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Here's my rant.... *deep breath* I'm sick of Ravens fans at this point. I can't watch a single video regarding the Bills without Ravens fans flooding the comments talking crap about Allen. It's crazy how quickly their stance changes now that Lamar has good stats. Last year, he had 24 passing TDs & 7 INTs (29 total TDs vs 13 turnovers). But those weak stats didn't matter, "look at the standings, best team in the league!" Now that the Bills & Allen are ahead in the standings, suddenly stats & total TDs matters more! Last year Allen having 15 more total TDs didn't matter because of their record & more turnovers, but this year that doesn't matter? "But Allen has only beaten bad teams!" How can Ravens fans bring this up as a point in their favor? At least he beat those teams rather than losing to the Raiders & Browns! 🙄 It's nonsense anyway. The Bills beat the Dolphins with Tua x 2, the now 5-4 Cardinals, and the Seahawks were 4-3 when we played them. Yes, losing to the Ravens & Texans is SoOoOo much worse than losing to the Browns & Raiders, right? /rant ************** So yeah, go Bungles! 1 3 Quote
Back2Buff Posted November 7 Posted November 7 The Ravens have a much more respectful fan base and I wouldn't mind seeing them win it all. I hate Cincy. Burrow is a miserable baby. Quote

I always say you need to worry about getting in the playoffs before worrying about seeding. I don’t want the Bengals in either. Let’s bury them and then worry about seeding. Quote
wjag Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Hate them both. Just gonna watch them beat the hell out of each other. 2 Quote
BillsfaninSB Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Not sure yet. Sometimes I pick a team at the start of the game. Last week I wanted a Jets win but found myself rooting against them as the game progressed. Could not help it. I think I want a Cincy win. Would love the Ravens to be a 4 seed, if they get by the Steelers, and they play KC in the divisional. Too many iterations to think about. Will just try and enjoy it. Quote

JESSEFEFFER Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Both recent losses to the Bengals were more about their defense, imo. Quote
frostbitmic Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Cincinnati doesn't have King Henry ... I'd rather face Burrow and Chase than Lamar and the King. Quote
GETTOTHE50 Posted November 7 Posted November 7 I hate burrow more than Lamar but I’m just hoping for a good game. a loss for either team would be good in my book. Quote
Einstein Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Either way. A loss tonight doesn’t bury the Bengals. They have an easy schedule going forward. Quote
