I think his stint with us, we played him out of position a lot...at the 1T.  Maybe the second marriage is more successful?

Ironically, it is 1T that we still need. So, I wonder if he will be played out of position again.

But I am glad we signed him instead of Phillips.

I know he was missed by Seattle fans when he left, but I remember him being a disappointment here. Left us and went on to have a good year with the Jets last year. Very meh...too me. Would've loved to see a trade for a run stuffing type. Jefferson does not help us there.

IIRC the articles when we signed him the first time, seems like he might be looked at as a Smoot replacement?  My recollection is that the plan back then was for him to play edge-setting DE in run situations and 3-tech DT in pass situations - which is the role Smoot has had this year.  My recollection is also that injuries resulted in Jefferson playing a mix of 3-tech and 1-tech DT and never playing at DE.

He probably will have to play 1T with us.  I forgot we have a Zion Logue as Daquan's back up.

Ankou plays well. I think he should be the primary 1T backup, personally.
