He is a shell of what he was in his glory days with the Bills. He was a shell, albeit a fat one, in his last stint here. More of a guy who is just going to hopefully clog up a lane now. 1 Quote

I really didn't want to believe it was actually going to happen. @GunnerBill you were right, he has put a hypnotic spell on Brandon Beane. He'll Pancake on his face and wrist and be done within a week or two. He was really good for us at one point though. Quote

This is nothing like that. It may have more of a positive impact than you expect. These guys can bring energy. Jefferson is a pretty good player IMO. 6 sacks last year I believe. He can play DT or DE really Phillips can randomly just destroy the pocket on passing downs. We are getting almost 0 pressure up the middle Quote

T master Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 I hope Phillips can add a little something to the rotation he's always been one of my favorite players since his first stint here . 1 Quote

We are getting almost 0 pressure up the middle Joking aside, they’ll definitely help short term. Ive always liked Phillips in Buffalo but he’s so unreliable health wise. I was excited the last time they signed him. Edited November 6, 2024 by Buffalo_Stampede Quote

NoHuddleKelly12 Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 I mean, if 80’s hair bands can still sell out seats on their umpteenth reunion tours, why can’t these guys just pop a few Advils and get out there to make at least one play per game? We’re no worse this morning, and hopefully marginally better 🤷♂️! Quote

I love Jefferson as depth once Carter/Smoot return. Feel free to release Jordan any time, assuming he doesn't get hurt before that. Quote
Big Turk Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 Let's get it... Both are familiar with their roles and should have no issues getting back up to speed. Makes a lot of sense from that standpoint. Honestly would have preferred Lawson tho over Phillips as he is a great edge setter and run defender. Quote

Bermuda Triangle Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 Is that 6 defensive tackles on the 53? Very odd positional roster allocation. Quote
