Any details on this? Or is this standard “progressive” pearl clutching?

There have been statements worrisome for limitations on birth control.  in his first term he made3 it optional for employers to provide insurance coverage for contraception.  The quote from Justice Thomas at the end of this piece is particularly concerning.  If the gov't, even on a state level enact restriction, they restrict couples freedom in the bedroom re contraception.  Who wants to use condoms?  Why should the gov't determine what is the allowed method(s).

When the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022, a solo concurring opinion by Justice Clarence Thomas included a line on birth control.

In his opinion, Justice Clarence Thomas wrote that the court "should reconsider" Griswold v. Connecticut, the Supreme Court ruling that invalidated a Connecticut law that made it illegal to use birth control devices or to advise about their use.

"We have a duty to 'correct the error' established in those precedents," Thomas wrote, citing the Griswold ruling among others.

They're going into people bedrooms and their doctors exam rooms so why not the living room?  it's what authoritarians do.

Ah, thanks for the explanation.  I thought perhaps it was a case of mass hysteria, or maybe collective dementia.

are you a fan of condoms?  What's your preferred method of contraception?

When the strangers go into the bedrooms, living rooms or closet off the back bedroom, they only whisper.   You know, hushed tones.  On the one hand, these strangers could just be saying "Hey man I like what you did with the hardwood flooring..." but on the other, it could be something much more nefarious.

Ah, you had a dinner swingers party, a "dinger" if you will.   That totally explains the living room reference.  I can only tell you with all sorts of people doing all sorts of things in your living room, I wouldn't trust that the salsa is fresh.

But Clarence Thomas! I will mark it down as standard “progressive” pearl clutching. Always looking for something to blow out of proportion.

Your absence of an answer makes me choose abstinence as the most likely answer.  No swinging.  No salsa.  One goes to the Villages in Fl;a for that stuff.  It's a conservative bastion with a high incidence of STD's.  We did have chutney though.  It keeps well.

I felt your question was forward and a bit presumptuous.  In polite company, when queried as such, the wisest course of action is to simply press on.

Thank you for the update on the Villages.  I’ll avoid that area moving forward.  I prefer South Florida anyways, where the temps stay pretty consistently high during the winter months.

Glad all worked out with the chutney.  We can disagree without being disagreeable.

deep fried samosas make for a smelly garage.  They were worth it.  S fla is full of sexual degenerates.  Not that there's anything wrong with that.

My experience with S Florida has been positive and free of debauchery.  In fact, beyond the beautiful weather, or perhaps because of it, it seems alive and popping.  Great place to get out of the winter weather.

Gonna check out Cuba this winter. Sounds primitive but should be fun.

It's interesting that we continue to see the mental

breakdown of the radical American left on a daily basis on

our @X timelines and nobody in the establishment media

has done a report on a need to do something about the

surge in left-wing "hate speech."

Despite the uptick in violent language and radical activists committing

acts of political violence — including two assassination attempts on a

former president and the execution of a healthcare CEO, complete with a

"manifesto" about why he did it — neither the FBI nor the DHS have

issued warnings about the rise of "far-left extremism" in the United States.

The SPLC has not remarked on any of these clear "hate speech" incidents

or the acts of political violence. The establishment media is silent.

The FBI and the DHS have nothing to say about it.

No wonder media trust is at an all-time low and millions of Americans

believe the U.S. government has been "weaponized."
