Oh my god, this self-serving egomaniac sold our nuclear secrets. to the highest bidder.  In no way, shape or form is this nation, or its people 'better off'.

I don't like Harris, but this is a world-history tragedy.

Go outside and touch grass, my condolences.

I hope you guys are right. It’s put up or shut up time.

Agreed.  He won.  Congratulations to him.

In the meantime, I'd like to know how, short of instituting communist-like price controls or maintaining the relevant policies of the current administration, he plans to reduce inflation.

This is probably going to benefit my stock portfolio.  But I have to say I find it amusing that a large swath of his voters focused on the perceived inflation/wage dichotomy (something not borne out by data over the past 12 months), and this morning guys like Mark Mobius are thrilled with the setup for securities.  The only way everyone gets their "cake" here is through trickle down.  Good luck with that.

I don't post in here much.

Not my choice, but a decisive majority win.  Who am I to say it's wrong?  Congrats to all those who have been waiting for this.

Hopefully this term is better than the first term. Favorable congress for him and he doesn't need to run a re-election campaign (and hopefully no pandemic).  I should be expecting lower gas and grocery prices, relative peace, lower taxes, and my 401k to continue to go up.

Our next President is a paranoid egomaniac, who can't put together a cohesive thought, and is 40 years past making people pretend they lost to him in a round of golf.

What he does best is publicize himself.  What he can now best do for this country is get out of the damn way and cheat at golf with his friends.

Inflation is already under control, gas prices are going down. He better produce. America wanted him they got him. They get what they deserve

He's a f#%^*ing dimwit, by the way.  Anyone with sense and power can see that.

For all those that hate him, your silver lining is you and your families are going to be much better off.

That and the popular vote is significant.

Take away just 2 things and you'll realize a majority of people that you come across support trump even if your immediate friends and relationships don't:

1)

Outside of NY, CA, Illinois strongholds of Urban/City areas which span more than just states as well - I think the stat i saw was 7 of 11 people you see when Trump.

2)

Most people who vote for a candidate don't see themselves in that candidate or even believe they're something more than the best option of the available choices to represent them on governing role.

That's my attitude, too.  I'll be fine because I'm disciplined.  Let's see if this gets furniture in the house for the stretched out suburbanites who are angry at others for their own lack of fiscal discipline.  And if the hill folk get out of the double wides.  And if the young men who (perhaps rightfully) are tired of hearing about the "patriarchy" of which they are not a part see an uptick in their earnings and careers.  My guess is that nothing for any of those groups changes unless they change it for themselves, which they likely won't do because the lack of discipline and work ethic is what put them where they are in the first place.

You STILL don't get it. You saying that about him and the media lying to us is WHY he won. This is a big F U to you and them. If the Dems ever want to win another election ever again they need to change their message and approach.

Or perhaps your side can double down on exactly this sort of talk and see where it gets them in 26-28.

There’s a home for you this morning at Morning Joe.

And it's now on you, you Trump-sucking pricks to keep this ####### in line. You bought him, you love hime, and now you need to make sure we have a reasonable society and democracy coming out the other end.

I doubt you can do that, because you strike me as a bunch of listless pussies.
