I'd have kept him tbh he played one of his best games as a Bill before the achillies last year against the Fins. But Beane was right on that one. He looked a poor imitation of himself for LA. Don't see him as an upgrade in Baltimore at this stage. Achilles injuries for a corner with a lot of miles is tough to come back from I love tre day but man that's all hard injury for a corner.. he was never the fastest... Although he was one of the quickest players... His closing speed was elite That burst is all but probably gone Quote
DapperCam Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Sadly at least for this season he is washed. I saw it with my own eyes. Maybe another offseason to heal and get back into game shape will allow him to be serviceable next season. Quote

eball Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Baltimore must think it’s still Halloween because they just traded for the ghost of Tre White. 1 Quote
TheCockSportif Posted November 5 Posted November 5 But, but... I thought that he was coming back to the Bills. I read it here. It must be true. HAHA Quote

TheyCallMeAndy Posted November 5 Posted November 5 We all wouldn’t hate a 30 year old Tre White on the PS next year… Quote

Much worse: Bruce Smith to Washington Redsucks for four years with 29 sacks including more sacks first year with $nyders team than last year with Bills. Quote

boyst Posted November 6 Posted November 6 He can't play special teams, which is important in Baltimore. If he is pressed to start it'll be a very tough position for him in the very physical AFC North. Quote

MarlinTheMagician Posted November 6 Posted November 6 According to studies (says AI) athletes that tear their achilles don't return to baseline performance until three years from an achilles tear. (if ever) There is statistically meaningful improvement in year 2, but recovery of performance typically takes three years. Tre will be 31 years at year 3, love to see him end his career a Bill as a depth player. Win a ring, live happily ever after. 1 Quote
