Really don’t understand what Beane and McDermott were thinking by signing Edwards and Samuel. Both productive players previously but enigma’s in Buffalo while hurting the cap space with minimal return.

Well considering that you admit they were both productive players previously, I would venture to guess they believed they would both be productive players here? Really though, it's just a guess.

beane could have asked me about Samuel. that guy has disappointed me in fantasy for years. Parlayed one good year in Carolina in 2020 into years of disappointment.

Im choosing to interpret this news as “opening a roster spot”.. because otherwise I’d have to join the MVS/Edwards/Samuel doomers.
