Buffalo_Stampede Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Is it possible Beane makes us worse at the deadline with only the release of Mike Edwards? Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I don’t like this at all. I thought Edwards and Bishop should have been the safeties with Rapp as the 3rd guy. Rapp has been fine though. Safety is a weakness and they have a guy that has been a good NFL player that they never gave a chance to. This is Poona Ford 2.0. Edwards should have gotten a chance. 2 3 2 1 Quote
khlax3 Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Bills ow have multiple open roster spots I would expect some moves today: edwards cut Smoot on IR Thatopens 2 plus louge seems like a very easy player to cut and put on practice squad Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Why would you say you are going to release a guy but also try to trade him? You are just telling teams wait. 1 1 Quote

Rapp was always going to be a starter. He was here last year so knew the defense and they gave him a 3 year deal. I think the thought edwards would be the other guy with Hamlin and bishop backing up this year with bishop taking over next year but injuries in the offseason derailed that plan Quote

Rapp was going to start when they brought him back. I would have used him as the 3rd safety again this year. Quote

Why would you release him and create a hole you have to fill? I thought he made some nice plays in preseason. Bishop showed he wasn’t ready yet when he had a chance, but I like having Edwards around for the depth. As soon as he’s gone we will have an injury and need him. Quote

I’m feeling like we’re going to hear later today about how Cam Lewis can play safety if injuries happen. 1 Quote
Process Posted November 5 Posted November 5 A minor injury in training camp shouldn't derail a guys entire season. Its hard to believe he's not better than Hamlin, but Sean is stubborn. 2 Quote

Hope releasing him means they're working on a trade to fill his roster spot They already have a spot open with Smoot going to IR 1 Quote
