How many of those yards and TDs are from Josh Allen which weren’t designed runs and has at times had nothing to do with run blocking? We probably have 6 less than a yard a keeper TDs and your including this? We've been run blocking really well all year lol Cook has had holes you can drive trucks through and doesn't get touched til he is 6 yards downfield Cmon man , we hardly even gave the ball to our running backs... 6 touches in the game 1 1 Quote

Pull up our metrics on 1st down runs. 4.6 4.3 5.4 Our three running backs ypc on the season We also run 6 lineman more than anybody in the league .. of course the defense is gearing up to stop the run But you clearly didn't watch the game if you're talking about our running game when we only handed it off six times There's literally nothing to take from that game But what about the game before where we were running for 200 yards... James Cook has been running through massive holes all year I don't think you watch The right side of our line especially Spencer Brown has been dominating Spencer Brown is literally destroying ends Edited December 12 by Buffalo716 1 Quote

First down run plays, short yardage run plays, have not been good. Quote

Every single NFL team can say abysmal at times lol We've been really really good a lot more than abysmal .. it's not even close to an abysmal running game Edited December 12 by Buffalo716 Quote
KollegeStudnet Posted December 12 Posted December 12 Tough one. If we win the SB, maybe. Brady has a great team and he’s fairly new to the pro game. Throwing money at a guy who has two yearsish as a pro OC from two different teams….seems reachy 🤷♀️ Quote
NickelCity Posted December 12 Posted December 12 Man, seems crazy to offer a HC position. I love his development as coordinator but that's a far cry from the CEO position basically. Quote
Boatdrinks Posted December 12 Posted December 12 I’d be surprised at this , even if the Bills get a SuperBowl win. Quote

Johnson, Allen and Cook are about .5 ypc apart in that order; it's not a QB stat. It's a rushing success stat. One of several. If you think this OLine's blocking has been abysmal, I'll just thank you for the confirmation that you aren't really watching them. Quote

Plus there was no real reason to run because Allen was destroying them thru the air and had almost no pressure all game. Essentially you are asking them to do something less effective than what they were doing when what they doing was working virtually all day. How does that make any sense? All game plans are not going to be the same. They are team and situation specific. Edited December 12 by Big Turk Quote

I agree with all game plans are specific But we didn't even test the running game enough to know what could or couldn't be 6 carries in four quarters is not enough to determine anything Quote

He’s not the guy following THE guy in Payton, so the pressure will be different than it was for Allen. If expectations are managed correctly walking in the door and Gayle Benson (or whomever is representing the ownership interest) accepts that there needs to be a tear down it buys him some runway. That, and the fans love their football. There are worse places to coach. 1 Quote
TheFunPolice Posted December 15 Posted December 15 (edited) The Saints seemingly have negative 100 million in cap space every off-season yet they're not awful, and usually seem right on the verge of being good. I get it for Brady, and it's unfortunate that this will be how it goes for Allen's career here with constant restarts but if you have the QB you'll have a good offense. DJB Posted December 16 Posted December 16 I think Brady is going to be coveted this offseason but the only team that worries me that he will agree to go to is Cincy. He has a huge connection with Burrow and Chase . Otherwise I feel like he stays in Buffalo and turns down other opportunities Quote
