That and the fact he's lined up so far back, he looks like a wing back in the formation. I've seen refs call that multiple times in the same drive against a team, but KC (Taylor) constantly gets away with it. 3 1 Quote

DapperCam Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I think my least favorite play of the game was Hopkins flopping so obviously on a push after the play, and the ref giving him the 15 yard call. Isn’t it embarrassing for a ref to get fooled like that? This isn’t soccer ffs. 1 Quote

I don't even think a holding would have changed the outcome. Probably not but it would have cancelled a decent run that made it 3rd and less then 1 from the 2. It would have been 2nd & 11 and with the rain pouring down who knows? Bottom line is that for the NFL to continually let this guy and by extension the Chiefs get away with these obvious pre snap penalties is undermining the faith in the league. I hate incompetent officiating but figure that over time it will even out. But what we're seeing here over and over again is something else and much more suspicious. 3 1 Quote

It's utterly disgusting. 2 Quote
Buffalo03 Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I wanna see us be physical as f*ck with them. They aren't going to call a penalty on every play and even if they do. I don't care. Knick them around Quote
Supercoupe91 Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Taylor def jumped early and seems to often. He takes advantage of refs not wanting to make a call late. 2 1 Quote
Dr.Sack Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Gotta go for 2 at the end of the game. McDaniels should have and Bowles too. Oh well. 2 Quote
DapperCam Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Curiously, KC seems to NEVER get a penalty late in the game during crucial drives. On the other side, their opponents seem to ALWAYS get penalties late in games during crucial drives. And when KC actually does get a legitimate penalty late in the game, Mahomes blows an actual fuse on the sideline. Crying, screaming, and acting hysterical. That’s how surprising it is to him to be on the wrong side of a penalty late in a game. 3 1 1 1 Quote
mikemac2001 Posted November 5 Posted November 5 It was the big running play that got called back it’s always those plays that swing the game then a bunch of plays happen so you forget about it then there team wins and on to the next game I don’t really care about KC we are not getting number one seed go get in be healthy and give those f uks 4 tough games Quote

They're not risking millions in added revenue keeping the Chiefs from waltzing right up to the winning SB podium. With Travis sticking his tongue down Tay Tay's throat. This league has been corrupt for years starting with the Brady love. Once they latch on to a hero they never look back. 1 1 1 1 Quote

Taylor was penalized relentlessly last season after never having an issue in 4 years in Jacksonville. And the takeaway is that the league has a different set of rules for KC? Lol. Apparently they had a different set for Jacksonville. 1 Quote

McDermott needs to do the due diligence and send the officiating committee tapes on the Monday before the KC game of every illegal formation and false start penalty for the year and how they compare to where Taylor lines up and how he gets off the ball. it may not change anything but he should be attempting to make it a point of emphasis for the officials that week. That is an embarrassing defensive performance at home in the playoffs. If Hardman doesn’t fumble out of the end zone, the game would have been over much sooner. Don’t get me wrong, offense wasn’t great (although Allen played well) but that defense stunk. Quote
ticketssince61 Posted November 5 Posted November 5 To make it fair, in the playoffs, if the receiving team in OT scores a TD, the other team gets a chance as well So why is this not the rule in the regular season? 1 Quote

Injury concerns the longer the game goes and probably something league couldn’t negotiate with the players association. Quote
