Agree. Similar to last week.

Indy’s season also hangs in the balance. They will look at this as a chance to stay in the hunt.

Not only that, but a win against the Buffalo Bills means something. We are a great team. A win against the Bills is a keystone win for a team like Indy.

The only argument against a close game is that there is evidence that Jim Irsay is meddling in the football operations. It’s weird. His daughter stands on the sidelines with a clipboard looking over the shoulder of the head coach…

Indy didn’t look good against Minnesota and the Flacco/ Richardson fiasco is ugly.

It could be bad vibes in that locker room… I have no idea.

One thing is for sure, there are great vibes in Buffalo right now. Unlike last year…

Seems similiar to the Mijami Tua/Fitzpatrick situation where Fitzpatrick would get more wins but they wanted to develop the rookie QB.

Have fun.  Away games can be fun.  I’ve done that in Miami and Jax as it’s convenient living in Tampa.

I know you’re kidding so I’ll settle for 35-13 Bills.

We’ve been to:

Baltimore, Miami, Jax, DC, and last year we went to KC. Always a blast but I have to admit the best atmosphere by a mile was KC. Great fans, cool city, and awesome day day environment.

I was wondering who that lady on the sidelines was.  Thanks!

Away games can be fun unless they lose to Jacksonville with Urban Meyer.

That’s true My Cousin Vinny, so I went to an earlier Jax game where we won, and then the first McD playoff game in 2017.  I know we lost, but felt like a win as we had our first playoff appearance in 17 years.

I went to a number of Bills, Fish games when younger, and was half and half with wins.  It didn’t matter as some ex Buffalonians  who are friends would want a boys weekend in South Beach.  I was happily married, but those scantily dressed women were still fun to people watch.

I've never been to KC, but I picture that tailgate-stadium environment to be the closest thing to an Orchard Park type scene.

Here’s a little glance into Indy, for those who would like to look at raw context in comparison to league averages:

- they have the worst time of possession in the league

- balanced play selection of run/pass in comparison to other teams (16/32)

- they don’t do anything overly well. All rushing and passing statistics are below the top 10

- they give up a ton of yards

- they’re one of the worst run defensives this season

- they give up a high completion percentage to opposing QBs, as well as yards

- they haven’t sacked the QB well (rank 22/32)

- they are not heavily penalized (top 5)

Given their starting C is out, and are playing with a nearly 40 year old statue, I’d be very disappointed if we were not able to find a way to the W column in this one.

There is no doubt they have some players, but they are not in the same realm as Buffalo. Any given Sunday, but not this one IMO

Problem is, the Bills defensive gameplan is usually the polar OPPOSITE of Flores' blitz-happy Vikings attack. Flacco can still hurt you if he has time in the pocket. Free rushers (especially on the interior) can demonstrably shut him down.

I've heard so many positive reports of the vibes at KC games. Wild to me that they're so kind generally to visiting Bills fans. Even before the current dynasty was winning 'ships.

Miami was gross back in the aughts. Worst fans I've been around on every level. Plus this is pre-canopy so sitting in that stadium for an afternoon game was a keyhole glimpse of hell.

Detroit's stadium is cool and those fans are enthusiastic. They're not always so accommodating, however.

Cleveland was cool back in the day.

I don't think we are the type of team that can say we will blow anybody out at this point. We are the type of team that has a much better QB and if the run game is good, we will win most the time. If the run game isn't good our offense can become very inconsistent. Then if we face a team that employs a game plan like the Cardinals and Titans did the first half, or Miami did all game, we can find ourselves in a dogfight. These teams stuck to the run and the short passing game. They possessed the ball and controlled the game until we adjusted. But lets also not forget in all 3 games we generated a massive turnover on downs early in the 2nd half. Two turnovers and a 4th down stop and these games really turned after that occurred. I can't assume we will be able to do that all the time.

This specific match up? Colts rank 5th in run defense EPA. So they should be able to slow our run game down. It's a game Josh will need to win with his arm, they rank 24th in pass defense EPA. That can be concerning because Brady still seems to stick to the run to his detriment in these situations.

The Colts run 12 personnel at the 6th highest rate in the NFL (1st and 2nd are the 49ers and Lions). Looking at rushing stats is pretty useless as Richardson made up so much of that but Taylor averages 4.8 per carry. Hopefully the injury to Ryan Kelly slows down the run game a bit because they will attempt to control the game as most of our opponents have. While Flacco looked like a total turd last week, he's still more than capable of executing a dink and dunk offense. Will he do it? He has that Allen quality to him and often wants to push the ball downfield. That would be a huge mistake this week. He is one of the worst in the NFL this year vs the Blitz. Will we dial it up? If we do, will it get home?

This will either be a very close game or we pull away in the 2nd half. No cakewalks for us until we show a lot more.

I'm from just outside Detroit and consider Lions fans to be pretty relaxed as far as aggression toward opposing fans. I've been a bit of a dumb ass a few times and they let me get away with it. They didn't have fans that would show themselves until a few years ago. Loyal base but not as proud in the loyalty as Bills fans. Great atmosphere. They can get really loud nowadays. I often joke with my friends about how many are now die hard Lions fans. Haven't heard a peep about them in 20+ years. Now everybody is on the wagon.

I don’t know man, we were up 31-3 early in the 4th quarter against the Seahawks two weeks ago.  Beat TN 34-10 even after the slow start.

Or get blown off the ball on both sides of the line and field in Baltimore in the rain after spending ridculous coin for seats and parking passes and taking nonstop incoming from Ravens fans after Henry busts through the line for an 80 yard TD on Ravens first play.......  🙂
