Head coach Shane Steichen ruled out Michael Pittman Jr. (back/finger) in his Friday news conference. Pittman has been considered week-to-week with his back injury, but has not been able to practice over the last three days. “He’s been battling like crazy,” Steichen said, via Nate Atkins of the Indianapolis Star. At this point, the Colts are not considering putting Pittman on injured reserve. Quote

In my eyes EDGE is a wash, LB and safety I'll give them a slight advantage, CBs I would probably take our entire tandem over theirs but it's close. On the whole I'd say they have more talent if for no other reason than they have one Hall of Famer in his prime and we don't, but it's not "much much more talented." Where their defense really wins is with scheme. They're willing to play more man and Spagnuolo's blitz packages are for my money the best in the league. Expand Safety a "slight advantage"? Just Reid is a very good safety and Bryan Cook has been really consistent for them as a second round pick. That is a massive advantage. The Bills have the worst starting safeties in the NFL, the fact they haven't sunk our season is because they are well coached. And KC's linebackers actually play their responsibilities rather than having a guy running around like a spinning top in Dorian. I think Dlines are close except for they have a stud and we don't and with their injuries I might give us the edge at corner (especially boundary corner). Quote

DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted November 8 Posted November 8 (edited) Bills WR Amari Cooper takes encouraging step in injury recovery ahead of Week 10 The Bills shared images of the wideout catching passes at Friday's practice on their official website. He does not appear to be distributing equal preference to his injured left wrist/hand while securing passes, but any sort of progress is encouraging at this juncture. Cooper was again listed as a limited participant after Friday’s session, and he’s been designated as questionable for Buffalo’s Week 10 bout with the Indianapolis Colts. The veteran was seen wearing a cast on his left hand after Thursday’s practice. Edited November 8 by DaBillsFanSince1973 4 1 1 Quote

GottaRun Posted November 8 Posted November 8 I’m all for sitting Cooper this weekend and having him stronger for KC, followed by the bye week. We still have a strong chance of winning this weekend without him, our RBs and Josh can get the job done. Ultimately it’s about being healthy down the stretch. 2 Quote

Expand I have to say I am beyond shocked at the laid back attitude of Cooper just not playing here. Not saying you individually just as a whole it seems all of a sudden the bills are a hallmark movie and not a bottom line business. A few weeks ago the WR here were the reason the team was going to be in a rebuild year and miss the playoffs. If cooper can play he damn well better play considering the price they paid for him. Samuel is not 100% clearly yet he suited up and played last week. I guess the question is, is cooper injured or hurt? Hurt guys play injured guys sit. If he is injured I wish the team would just say yeah he is injured and needs time to heal, it is not like its affecting preperation from opponents. Edited November 8 by MikePJ76 1 1 2 Quote
