3 of our 4 penalties were bogus.  Both holding calls plus the 15 yard unnecessary roughness on Rapp for his tackle on Mostert were bs.  Mister lowed his head into rapps face mask.  I guess that’s what happens when you get a bad Rapp with the officials.

I didnt see a hold but it looked like a push in the back

Spencer pushed him in the shoulder...not the back. Weak-ass call!

Looks like a push by Spencer Brown after Josh was already past them.

Very weak call

It was earlier in the play, on Dolphins #20.  The clip is bottom of page 1.  Still a weak call.

Those two hoding penalty calls were egregious. Shameful calls by the refs.

What I don't understand is the refs this year seem to be going out of their way to screw us. Those consecutive phantom calls were both the worst of the year.  It's like the NFL is saying " well Bills, you're going to have to work a little harder than our beloved Chiefs".

The most useless position in all of sports broadcasting is the "Rules Expert Analyst".

Which is why, in moments like these, are the perfect time for the broadcasters to go to New York and ask Gene Steratore or Mike Pereira, how are these penalties considered holding?

Gene & Mike will do a lot of stuttering and not give us an answer of course. Stupid officials.

The crazy thing is Phin fans are saying the refs should have been in bills jerseys, because they were trying to help the bills win.

I saw some bad calls both ways but those back-to-back holdings were BAD BAD. Taking points off the board for ticky-tack calls.

The rapp flag was a joke.

And the poyer flag, well... They had to throw that.

And the idea that Poyer was a "double agent" (very popular among dolphin fans)... Yeah except he broke the arm of our star in the making WR. So if he was trying to help he didn't do it very well.

I still have no idea what the "sky judge" is in the NFL.  On calls like that, the sky judge needs to call down and inform them that it is not a hold.  Like this is getting insane.

they let a lot of what used to be holding go now, if the DL does a rip move putting the OL arm around the head and shoulders of the defender, they allow a "hook block", i've actually read the rule in the book on that.  I think some of these refs are looking for too much detail and make calls based on the result of the play at the line rather than if a rule was broken.  it also seems like they just aren't calling as much DPI as they did before.

it was a terrible call, but i think the hold got called because the DL jumped and flew and spencer brown's hand slipped to his back, but in no way was he held, and brown didn't even really push his back.

a couple of these calls (rapp UR and that hold) going the other way really flips the game script and ends up w a bills cruise to victory instead of a nail biter.

I see what you did there. ;)

What was so comical was that Trent Green was already calling it against Moestert!!

Josh made an incredible play, at a crucial point on the game, only to be robbed on ahorseshit call.  NFL does not have this sensational run by Josh,  on its sight, it’s been stricken from the record.

Yet another amazing play by Josh!

does anyone have video of that run?

I made a comment on the game thread at the time... That call was everything that is bad about the NFL... Taking a run like that off the board by a potential MVP and one of the leagues 5 most popular players for what was obviously a clear mistake by a ref is inexcusable. There has to be something the NFL can do about calls like that... The replay showed it was a crap call seconds later... The NFL has to demand better... B-)

Trent Green actually had some solid analysis yesterday. Better than most of the color commentary goon squad on the air these days.

On both of the replays of the two holding calls you could “hear” the silence as him and Harlan were just dumbstruck by what they were seeing lol

Wasn't the penalty they called against Torrence?

I unfortunately needed to listen to the game on the radio, specifically the Miami Dolphins broadcast.

If I'm not mistaken, you can listen to the WGR broadcast live through the Buffalobills.com website.

Maybe they would like to see more parity in the division, record wise, but that is entering the conspiracy theory multiverse....

That took Josh's 57th career rushing TD away from him. Which would have tied him with OJ at #2 all time Bills' rushing TD's.

Glad to see our QB1 held that ball out like a loaf of bread as advertised!!

And how Jalen "Josh Allen is Trash" Ramsey pulls up and makes a business decision to not tackle Josh at the goal line.  Miami gave him $26mm this year for that!
