Logic Posted yesterday at 04:15 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:15 AM Count me among those who -- if we're not going to use Samuel in a meaningful way -- would rather see them try out KJ Hamler or Jalen Virgil for a few weeks. If it's injury thats causing Samuel to be a zero, then IR him. If it's performance, then lets see what Hamer or Virgil has to offer. 2

GASabresIUFan Posted yesterday at 04:37 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:37 AM One thing I did like was that Brady had Samuel on the perimeter running deep routes. What I’d like to see from the film was whether or not Samuel was getting open on those routes and if he was did Josh not see him or did Josh not have time to try the deep throws.
ghostwriter Posted yesterday at 04:39 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:39 AM Curtis who?
Doc Brown Posted yesterday at 04:44 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:44 AM Unless he forgot how to play football Brady needs to figure out how to get Samuel involved with Coleman likely out a while. This free agent class as a whole has been extremely disappointing. It's a credit to our rookie class and the guys already on the roster for our 7-2 record. 5 minutes ago, ghostwriter said: Curtis who? NeverOutNick Posted yesterday at 05:02 AM Share Posted yesterday at 05:02 AM Told everyone when we signed him that he’s not the guy. He’s McKenzie 2.0 and they’re not even using him that way.

Miller had 3 sacks in hisn first three games...then he was suspended for the next four...which obvously means he was MIA those 4 weeks...He got back tto the Miami game - but with the quick drops by Tua there was no opportunity to rush the passer. I wish they were able to generate more pressure up the middle...but that is not Von's job 1
Da webster guy
6 hours ago, Mikie2times said: The played the Raiders week 2 half asleep off the KC game and a Browns team that was a bad match up for them and really anybody in the NFL if Winston is hot as he was in that game. They have beat multiple playoff contenders at this point, including Buffalo. They're way ahead of us at this time and if you think that isn't accurate then we are far away enough in what we are seeing that it's not worth discussing further. Mikie you've gotta lighten up man. Its OK. Baltimore is a very good team, (half asleep? that's a new one) But they've lost three games. I agree nobody has beaten us that badly in recent years but every team loses games every year. Heck the Chiefs lost six last year and still got the trophy. But this is a thread about Samuel, who is a surprise to me this season considering how talented he is. Dominant college player and a very solid NFL guy prior to this season. Super versatile and by all accounts he's a hard worker too. McD and Brady can be maddening sometimes but they seem to get the most out of their players, so I'm chalking this one up to a nagging injury that's preventing him from being explosive, getting separation. Whatever it is, we should have a play or two for this guy if and when he's healthy to jumpstart his confidence and break this ugly streak of non-impactful games he's had here.
thenorthremembers
I think there is a lot more going on with Samuel than meets the eye. I don't know if it's the injury, an inability to understand the offense or what but the bottom line is the guy can't catch passes thay aren't thrown to him There were times he was split wide to one side of the field and they went 2 or 3 wide to the opposite side of the field. When Josh took his progressions his head didn't even make it to Samuel's side of the field. Kind of a tough situation to be in because he makes 9 million next year and it includes nearly 8 million in dead money if they release him. Not sure what is going on we will need him even more now with Keon possibly out. I don’t understand how so many people don’t understand what’s going on. He has turf toe that is lingering because it hasn’t been given time to properly heal. Have you ever injured your toes? It’s not easy to run, stop and change direction. Things that’re important for a WR to be able to do. 7 hours ago, Bookie Man said: If he can't run a jet sweep, he shouldn't be on the field. This is what people who understand that turf toe injuries can linger if not properly rested and healed have been saying since the injury happened. But the Bills didn’t have any receiver to take his place and had him play through it. He shouldn’t have been dressed yesterday but Cooper was hurt and they again didn’t have someone that could take his place.

peterpan
I don’t think he knows the playbook. There was an “alert” Josh called at one time, and Mack Hollins had to point behind his back, to communicate to him him which way the ball was being ran. People have been hard on Hollins but I don’t know why. He has been a pretty good player. He is big and strong and can block. I really hope we extend him.
dollars 2 donuts
8 hours ago, DrPJax said: I don’t think it’s negative just to wonder what exactly is going on with him. It’s pretty unusual to have him out there if he has some undisclosed injury ; that just doesn’t make sense to me. I mean it’s past the half way point and he has really not been any type of threat , or even productive in any sense this year. It’s is very strange after watching him be very productive before coming here. Obviously they expected more with his contract. He and Josh just have no chemistry ; Josh didn’t even look at him today imo. He has fallen off a cliff , heck even Diggs at his worst produced more. Just really an odd situation , and I don’t know what “ injury” would persist , go unreported , and he still be getting snaps. Either it’s Brady misusing him , or he has hit some wall mentally or physically. I really thought he would be very good , but so far he’s a mystery. Above and beyond that, PJax (no disrespect, but unless medical I’m not really in to calling you Dr. 😁) we are also obviously concerned because we may really, really… …really need him for the next few weeks. Pete
Do we have a snap count on Curtis? He is invisible. Place Curtis on IR - we get about the same usage, so not a bad idea. Add another WR and DT. Von was ineffective again. DT is killing Bills D. I’m ***** sick of not being able to stop the run. I’m talking to you DaQuan and Ed. I’m ok with trading for Simmons or another DT. Our first two picks should be DT and WR. So I don’t mind giving up a one if we get a premium DT like Simmons Edited 19 hours ago by Pete 1
Buffalo_Stampede
I am baffled by his lack of involvement. He’s someone who you develop plays for, screens or handoffs, but they aren’t even doing that. I thought they would do more than that, but to not even give him screens and handoffs is very strange.
