Even if he makes the catch, he didn't go past the sticks, so the FD would have been iffy at best. He failed on 3rd and 3 and on 4th and 3 in the first quarter. Neither time was he past the sticks and he didn't catch either. The first one (3rd down) he was covered pretty well by the nickle corner. I don't know if they went back to him much after that. That's the story of his time here. They try and get him going but nothing has worked so far. 1 Quote

Buffalo_Stampede Posted November 11 Posted November 11 I really thought this move was going to work. That said, Joe Brady hasn’t shown an ability to get WRs involved other than the screen game. We’ll see how Amari Cooper works out. 1 1 Quote
Eastport bills Posted November 11 Posted November 11 I’m holding out hope that Curtis starts being a contributor. Usually it takes until November to integrate a new receiver. In his defense he’s had the turf toe which is a tough injury for receivers and Josh does not have the trust in him which translates to targets. The next game should feature Samuel, Shakir and Knox along with Cook, Davis and Johnson(who makes plays every time he hits the field). 2 Quote

At this point I think I'd favor Hollins over Samuel as Allen seems to be more on the same page with him. Maybe problem was Samuel missed too much of training camp to be that effective?? Also read one article that stated once Kinkaid got hurt the Bills ran almost exclusive 11 personal the rest of the game. Hoping that either Cooper of Coleman will play next week. Quote

Hollins has been a pleasant surprise. He’s a locker room star and leader which was expected but he has been a big play and red zone contributor. This week with 3 starters inactive, Curtis will be targeted because they will try and take Shakir and Hollins away. Let’s see if he can rise to the occasion with man coverage. Quote

BananaB Posted November 11 Posted November 11 (edited) Bills do a lot of forcing it to guys early to get them going but never really amounts to anything. You seen it with Diggs last year, you see it at times with Kincaid this year. Samuel was that guy yesterday. To me Kincaid has been a bigger disappointment than Samuel because of such high expectations of him being a difference maker. Samuel has been used poorly in my opinion. His roll is kind of gadget guy mixed in with a little bit of what they ask Shakir to do for them. When you look at how you expect them to be used and how they are being used it kind of changes perspective. Edited November 11 by BananaB Quote
GoBillsForeverAndAlways Posted Thursday at 02:16 AM Posted Thursday at 02:16 AM I feel like Curtis has been playing well this season and has been a big contributing factor for us in our 8-2. Can't wait to see more of him 2 Quote

FireChans Posted yesterday at 12:48 AM Posted yesterday at 12:48 AM Samuel emerging as an actual weapon is gamechanging. I’m hoping this is him ramping up from his injury. Get Cooper and Coleman healthy, get the bye, and this team is gonna do damage Quote
GrimboG Posted yesterday at 12:48 AM Posted yesterday at 12:48 AM Well done Mr Samuel. I expect he's been nursing that injury but really showed up today in a huge game Quote
BillMafia716ix Posted yesterday at 12:58 AM Posted yesterday at 12:58 AM Samuel starting to catch on. He’s building trust with Josh. 1 Quote

I had high hopes for him, glad to see he’s getting going. 1 Quote
PayDaBill$ Posted yesterday at 01:20 AM Posted yesterday at 01:20 AM Maybe he’s getting healthier. Good timing with the break next. Get Coleman back and Kincaid and Copper more time to recover. Quote
ghostwriter Posted yesterday at 01:26 AM Posted yesterday at 01:26 AM Curtis made a few plays, it was good to see. Hopefully he finishes strong. Quote
Eastport bills Posted yesterday at 01:28 AM Posted yesterday at 01:28 AM Samuel is a huge addition to our team. With him creating separation and YAC, that gives Coop, Shakir and Coleman, when he returns, more space to operate. Throw in the TEs and Hollins and now we’re talking. Let’s get our O-line healthy and just dominate. With our running backs that’s a lot to defend. Quote
