Rich Stadium Original Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Just a quick review if the Bills drives today: 1st drive was 3 and out.... THEN: Next drive Bills moving the ball to the Red Zone.. then 3rd down Allen sweep from MIA 15 poorly executed, and a Field Goal. After that, If Coleman catches the ball cleanly on the slant, it's probably a touchdown instead of an INT. Next drive IS a TD, called back on phantom hold..settle for 3 Touchdown Touchdown Touchdown Drive for game winning FG. If it wasn't for a little bad luck on the Coleman slant in the phantom penalty, the Bills had the potential for TDs on 5 consecutive drives. 10 4 1 Quote

I’ve been encouraged by him this season but he still seems inconsistent and mistakes like these are brutal. The red zone issues were the reason why the game was as close as it was 2 Quote
Shortchaz Posted November 4 Posted November 4 2-5 in the red zone. other than that the offense was impressively patient. Quote

The red zone issues were the reason why the game was as close as it was it might be a lot to ask of a rookie, but I expect him to make tough red zone catches and contested catches. That’s basically why we drafted him. The slant drop was not really excusable. But I even expected him to catch the ball in the end zone that Josh threw high later and where we got a defensive hold away from the ball. Coleman went up high and ball Hit him in the hands. Also, I expect him to make that deep catch late, though I think the poyer penalty probably caused that drop. might be unfair to have those expectations, but those catches were supposed to be his bread and butter. Haslett_Stomp Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Coleman should have caught it, however It was an easy touchdown if Josh led him on the pass that Ramsey intercepted. 1 4 1 Quote

You don't lead those ones. You stick them right on their bodies, which is exactly what Josh did. It was a perfect pass. 1 1 1 2 Quote

The holding calls were refs directly changing and influencing the outcome of a drive and game. This is especially when Taron Johnson was so blatently held later in the gam on a Fins run that resulted in a TD. Ok the refs are going to call the game tight but do so consistently. 2 Quote
RyanC883 Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Coleman was bad yesterday at catching. On the positive side, had a couple good/important blocks I think. Overall this is a rookie WR season, weeks like last week, then weeks like this. Needs to start staking more weeks like last. Quote

Keons drop took 7 off the board and the dolphins then drove down the field and scored a td the holds took 7 off the board but we still added 3. It was at the end of the half and Miami didn’t score. i hated the holds more than the drop due to the calls being bs and Keons drop was all on him, but the drop had a bigger impact on the game imo Quote
GoBills808 Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Wasn't concerned about that tbh On offense we kind of did everything we wanted wrt available personnel, just got unlucky a few times. I actually like going to the rookie there against Ramsey, shows a lot of faith in him. Half the time that ball gets caught for a TD and probably 4/5 the drop fall incomplete...10% chance of INT there imo The holding calls whatever And on defense we took their best shot and Tua played great. Just we were the better team as we typically are vs Dolphins 2 Quote

colin Posted November 4 Posted November 4 cook dropped what looked like a td on a drive that resulted in 3 as well Quote

This is 100% true. QBs are taught to try & put the ball 1ft in front of the receiver's body on a slant. A slant thrown 2-3ft in front is often times a hospital ball. Quote

Did we score a TD on the drive where Cook dropped the pass in the flat? I can't recall Thinking he would have walked in on that as well. 1 Quote
