Interesting you say this - I noticed a broadcast shot where Allen was showing a guy on the sideline his pinky finger area.  He was pointing at it vigorously and then was squeezing his hand a couple of times.  Did anyone else notice this?

Yeah, he also tried to put his hand in the hand warmer on his jersey but caught his pinky on it. It's quite possible his hands were numb from the cold and his pinky and index finger were extra numb from hitting his elbow. The broadcast kept showing the play right before it, but he doesn't hit his R elbow on that play (despite those tool bags proclaiming "Oh, yeah, there it is" or something equally inane). In his pressor, I think he said it happened a couple of plays before the pass play.

Yes sir. Probably ulnar nerve as it runs down towards the pinky side.

I have had a fairly bad ulnar nerve injury where I banged it hard and couldn't feel my hand for a day and Couldn't even bend my elbow without pain for a month.

It's not fun, but looks like he avoided a serious injury

Yes other than Spector (no great loss) I think we avoided major injuries today.  Let's survive the Jets then rest everyone week 18.

I also had this happen to me. I was playing running back in high school, and got hit on my funny bone....and had a lot of numbness in my pinky for what seemed like a week, but probably was only a day or two....my elbow was really swollen. It's definitely a weird feeling.

I thought Allen said in the post game press conference that his hand felt numb but that was due to the funny bone being hit, and it went away after several minutes

The moment that woeful throw landed I instantly looked back at Allen to see what happened and he was holding his arm above the wrist area as he ran off the field.   He was struggling with it for quite a bit more than several minutes.   He was still trying to shake feeling back in it before he went on the field for the last drive.   He wasn't really doing that on the field though so I don't know what the tv camera's were showing.

Spector going down probably won us that game honestly 😂. Clearly we didn’t want to risk Williams getting hurt unless we had to so im sure the team wasn’t super happy he got forced in the game but it was a massive upgrade.
