sleeby Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Would the Bills have won in regulation had poyer not made that penalty? It certainly helped. And he did the same in our first game also at an opportune time. Quote

They would have had to punt there with still over a minute left and the fins having two TOs. 1 1 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 4 Author Posted November 4 looks like someone got ejected during the lions game for a helmet hit yesterday. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/dan-campbell-thinks-nfl-office-is-more-likely-to-eject-players-in-high-profile-games Quote
JP51 Posted November 4 Posted November 4 I think based on the Dolphins fan reaction it may be better to not suspend him and let him play, that may be worse punishment for the Phins LOL 1 Quote
SF Bills Fan Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Still making plays for us and we don't have to pay him. 1 2 Quote
Pete Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Mosert should have huge fine. Poyer should have a much higher fine. Poyer should of been ejected IMO 1 2 Quote

I actually thought his helmet was cracked. It really isn’t an over-exaggeration. Looked like a personal foul on Coleman if the officials are calling it consistently with the first quarter. 3 Quote

He has to attack that catch with total abandon if he's not early. He just has to. Agree he has to break up that play, but he should have lowered his head or moved to the side a bit to avoid the head to head. For a vet that was a needlessly-reckless play, IMO 13 hours ago, TwistofFate said: wow. did this gif happen, wt!! Quote
Sweats Posted November 4 Posted November 4 You see that with older players who've lost their edge and lost a step......they play a little dirtier to try to keep up and "even" the playing field. Poor Poyer, it's just not working out for him. 1 Quote
MJS Posted November 4 Posted November 4 A player in the Sunday night game got ejected for the same exact thing. Pretty similar plays. Quote
PonyBoy Posted November 4 Posted November 4 The sound that hit made was horrible. Easy to hear when it happened live. Quote

I didn’t think it was possible to have a worse call than Epenesa roughing the passer penalty against Rodgers. But then Rapp getting a personal foul for getting hit? Then two phantom holding calls. We could have won that game by 20 if Keon catches that ball near the end zone and the phantom holding calls don’t end drives. That was horrific officiating, and that is why the game was so close. 1 Quote
muppy Posted November 4 Posted November 4 I hate to think a guy like Poyer would return to Buffalo to want to injure an opponent on his old team I just don't believe it. He made a mistake. That's just my opinion. A really bad mistake launching himself like that. No Bueno Jordan 2 Quote
BullBuchanan Posted November 4 Posted November 4 I can see how from Poyer's perspective it was a clean hit. He wasn't aiming for the head, but he was slow getting to Coleman, so that Coleman's head came down into the path of the blow. It was the top of Poyer's helmet tot he bottom of Coleman's facemask. He led with the shoulder. Not much you can do about that except not go for a hit at all. 2 Quote
babulator Posted November 4 Posted November 4 I saw a talking head mention how Po was old slow and late. These types of hits/plays are all he has left... old, slow and late. He's fortunate to avoid the dirty player tag. Quote
