Dominant even. Should have had 5 TDs. Final drive was a bit of a mess, yes Yep and Allen once again scored a MVP caliber TD getting smoked on that third touchdown pass. 1 Quote
EasternOHBillsFan Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Ty Johnson made plays when he was in the game... he may not have gotten many carries, but he took full advantage of his limited touches. 2 Quote

Everyone else on that side of the ball should hang their heads knowing they almost blew an outstanding Allen performance. Defensive coaches included. Yeah that was one of the more inept defensive performances you will see. The Bills were hot garbage on that side of the ball from beginning to end. It was borderline embarrassing how soft they played. 1 1 Quote

He was in as much command of that field as any QB you will ever see, imo. He was two drops and a phantom call away from having six touchdowns today. How anyone can call him “off” is beyond me. I guess maybe the Fins thought he was “a little off” compared to his usual stat lines against them. He still owns them. 2 1 Quote

The numbers weren't anything to write home about, but I thought he was brilliant for the majority of the game today. Outdueling a QB who was having a near perfect day supported by a ground game that cranked out 150 is no easy trick; he maximized nearly every opportunity he had with the ball and outfoxed the Dolphins DC at every turn. 2 1 Quote

If I pick Josh, Cook, and Shakir every week, it makes for a dull thread. I reserve the right to revoke them for substandard play. Yes, broke Christie's 59 yard record. Josh had his problems (a lot of passes landed at the receiver's feet), but he ultimately led the drive for the GWFG. He also found Mack Hollins and Quinton Morris for TD's, using all his available receivers. He did enough to keep his game ball, unlike Cook. If Coleman and Cook make their catches on perfectly thrown passes Allen has 5 TD throws for the day. And if the ref keeps the flag in his pocket on Allen's great 25 yard TD run (like they do for the Chiefs) then Allen has a 6 TD game with NO turnovers. By any rational standard Allen played great today. So he threw 4 passes to receivers feet. Big deal, this happens to almost every NFL QB. Allens play was why the Bills won today. 4 1 1 Quote

BillsFooteball Posted November 4 Posted November 4 I’m going to go a bit off here and give credit to the player I consistently advocate to ride the bench, Hamlin. A guy I can’t stand seeing in coverage and the angles he takes with slow speed has set me off many times this year to replace him. Todays defense was all about missing tackles. It was horrible game for several guys on the defense and poor tackling was a large reason. Hamlin lead the team with 8 solo tackles. Normally this comes from open guys downfield but really today he was cleaning up a lot today on the backend. Far from star of game but I was pleased with him today 3 2 Quote

Utah John Posted November 4 Posted November 4 The refs, as usual. Both of the holding calls against the Bills at the end of the first half were bogus, and they turned a Josh Allen TD run into a long FG that salvaged some points, but geez guys, what's wrong with the refs? Later on whenever Tua was back to pass on slow developing plays, he had massive time to pass and there was holding on every play. The penalty against Poyer was an actual penalty but considering the timing of it I can see how the Dolphins were not happy about it. Josh Allen, as usual. This is 2024 Allen, making smart decisions while working with receivers who seldom get very open. Two INTs on the season both of which were on the receivers (Cooper slipped, and Coleman has got to make that catch). But Allen's talent hasn't subsided -- he's still just as good a passer as he's been, and when he runs he can turn the other team upside down. But he knows this team has a shot at the SB as long as he doesn't get injured. So he's not exposing himself needlessly. 1 Quote
Negan Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Not Kevin Harlan, man that dude was annoying as hell and pro Miami all game. Guess the Dolphins were 9-0 with games called by Harlan since 2022. They were due to break that streak lol. 1 2 Quote

D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted November 4 Posted November 4 I wonder if PFF considers the interception off Coleman to be a turnover worthy play. If they say he should have 5-6 Ints.(turnover worthy plays) this season, well then it's only fair that the play be reversed from yesterday. I'm not holding my breath! 1 Quote
