TYLER BASS gw 61y FG vs Miami

Process

Just got home to Croton (Westchester ) after attending today's game. We sat in that end zone and everyone at that end of Stadium was ecstatic!!! About 15 minutes prior We were all there sweating it out that he'd make the extra point

Bass definitely deserves major props for today.

I mean, we all get a little nervous when he is asked to kick anything, but he won a lot of hearts today and won us the game.

......and i am not ashamed to say that i like Journey.

If you love journey, stumbled upon this super cool acapella version of “don’t stop believing”!

Tyreek Hill - "I thought he was gonna miss that *****, I ain't gonna lie to you.  But he made that B word, so shout out to him man, like hey, he get paid too, you know, so?  It is what it is."

we can all learn a lot from these wise and eloquent words.

My take, maybe unpopular, is that it was a no pressure situation for Tyler because nobody, emphasize nobody, was thinking he might make it.  In that situation, no pressure, and he nails it like we know he can.

What a kick.

Still nervous every time he kicks.

Same here.  Of course he nailed his three toughest kicks (from 40, 49, and 61) and drilled them right down the middle but the two XPs were a total adventure.  I really hope that a winner from 60 gives him his confidence back.

Well, who doesn't like Journey? 🤪

Here is some classic Journey - over 1000 years.  My wife was watching it downstairs.

Never doubted him…. Not for a minute!

i wish i could say the same!

so, i remember in SF TO dropped a bunch of passes, but caught a bullet from steve young to win the game at the end.  hopefully, this kick will be like that catch for TO, the play that solidifies his confidence and lets him be his best.

it was a truly epic kick, woulda been good from 65
