HardyBoy Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Anyone else feel like it sounds like he's going through more than just the adversity that comes from missing kicks? A lot of tears and just the depth of the way mcd talked about overcoming that adversity and his teammates being there for him...I dunno if you get that level of depth to these emotions if it's just a slump on the field and there isn't maybe something else going on that is making it really hard to focus at the insane level required 1 3 Quote

Honestly I have not but it has to be stressful. I mean fans sent him death threats after he missed a kick, he wants badly to be the guy everyone wants. It seems super likely all the emotion is about his status with the team. 1 Quote
Slack_in_MA Posted November 3 Posted November 3 (edited) Happy for the man. Was starting to think he was broken. These guys are not robots. They have challenges in life like you and I, only magnified publicly. For his sake and ours as Bills fans, I hope this gives him the confidence to turn things around. Dan Darragh Posted November 3 Posted November 3 I think TBass turned his game around when he stopped angering the football gods with that stupid one-eye eye-black thing. Just sayin. Quote

Returntoglory Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Hats off to Bass. Under an incredible amount of pressure this year and he absolutely crushed that kick ! Quote

Whether it’s because they don’t like Bass or wanted another reason to call for McDermott’s head for continuing to stick with him… I just want you to know you’re all ***** up. Allen2Moulds Posted November 4 Posted November 4 It seemed like he was starting to get his confidence back last week. Hopefully this game winning 61 harder, finishes cementing it. Quote

I don't know if it would have mattered, to be honest... remember Norwood's season after, in 1991? He struggled and was gone. Bass was clutch today, but a kicker is only as good as his last kick and the postseason looms large. 1 Quote

CircleTheWagons99 Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Game winner from 61. I think Bass shut us all up for about a week. 1 Quote
