Wacka Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Well, to me it tasted what pine sap smells like. That tasting was >40 years ago. Quote

Usually on my bar is Bombay Sapphire or Citadelle ... I'll have to look for the one from Hammondsport. I was still in college and went home to a friend’s for the weekend. It was hot, and they had a beautiful pool in the back yard with a brick deck and built-in kitchen. His father came out and made my first gin and tonic right in front of me. I was a college kid drinking cheap draft beer. It was really hot by the pool, and that was the best damn drink I have ever had in my life. Many decades later, I still remember that crisp and refreshing taste. I’m not sure if I ever had another, but I remember that one. I’m a beer and wine guy now, without much beer. Don’t ask about my 19th BDay and Wild Turkey. . Edited November 6 by Augie 3 Quote
