And we know you can use Oliver's speed and aggression against him to get him outta position and ran into the hole. Even more reason to get someone. Who and for what is the real question. Because as is, it won’t be enough to get the job done against the likes of a Baltimore or kc in the playoffs. Quote

Miami got chunk play after chunk play and we never found answers. Allen and Brady and Taron Johnson saved his lunch, and then Bass finished the job. Agree, McD/Babich did enough to hold them to 10 in 1st half. 2nd half was major chunk plays. I guess they tried to see if McDaniel would stay committed to the run. Credit Miami for sticking to it. McDaniel usually panics when trailing. Also think their OL got away with a handful of holding calls but will take the W. Quote

Disappointed w Von today, but maybe just some rust . Personally, I think this was just a freak game. But I'm still convinced despite being a good depth player, Hamlin needs to be upgraded. Let's not forget Benford was out as well. He's a shut down corner and literally playing as good as ANY corner in the NFL. I don't know how many snaps Von actually played today, but I don't think it was many, especially in the first half since the fish were running the ball so well. Rushed 4 for the most part and nobody got close. Quote

That is not the right way to view it. They play a nickel two deep defense as a base and teams have numbers in the running game. The bills are telling teams to run and daring them to have long sustained drives without mistakes. That is very hard to do in the nfl. miami did it today. Still didn't win. 2 1 Quote

Buffalo Boy Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Josh won this game. And a special shout out to Ray Davis!!! The defense didn’t. Coleman/ rookie wondercontestedcatchboy surely didn’t. Coaches didn’t. Bass got lucky but I still don’t trust him. This D isn’t going anywhere in the playoffs. 3 1 1 1 Quote

The call against Dawkins was ridiculous. The call on Torrence was mild at worst compared to what Miami got away with a few times. 3 Quote

gonzo1105 Posted November 3 Posted November 3 The best thing we can do is add a 1 Tech before the deadline. I think Logue was picked up as a developmental guy to replace an Austin Johnson next year but we need another stalwart in the middle. Doesn't have to be a huge guy but someone who can play the run and rush the passer a little bit. 1 Quote

I don't know what the solution is. You don't want to give up big plays, I get it, but giving up an 8 minute 97 yard TD drive isn't much better. I think we might need to trade for a big DT. Daquan has fallen off hard and Oliver gets pushed around. 3 2 Quote

BananaB Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Poyer with a dirty hit but ***** I thought the Moesart helmet to Rapp facemask looked like it would hurt more. I’m surprised Rapp didn’t leave with concussion symptoms. He put the crown of his helmet right between his eyes. Rapps head was up the whole time. How the refs get that wrong blows my mind 2 Quote

But these injuries up front are getting brutal 1 Quote
