This is what the offense has to be with Cooper out. And now Coleman is likely to be out a little while if the broken wrist report is true...

Where are you guys hearing this info on Coleman? If he is out the rest of the year that would really F'ing suck.

This was unbelievable.  I wanted to strangle McDermott Now I want to kiss him like I am his grandma!!

just amazing.

Eh I don't think McDermott won us this one. His side of the ball was abysmal... Miami got chunk play after chunk play and we never found answers. Allen and Brady and Taron Johnson saved his lunch, and then Bass finished the job.

But we're the better team.  We were favored to win and we were at home.

Defense didn't play well at all.  They gave up way too much on the ground and got zero pressure on the QB all day.  Let's at least acknowledge that.  That's not going to get the job done against good teams.

The philosophy has been the exact same every week.  The only week it has burned them so far is the ravens game.

Next week the colts will come and it is going to look a lot like the titans game early.   Buffalo will not aggressive defensively until they have a big lead or they have figured out the other teams tendencies.

They are begging teams to run the ball on them by design.    They could do what miami did today and play with 7 or 8 guys at the line of scrimmage all day but they do not want to give up big plays on defense and they haven't 0utside of the ravens game.

Yeah I just realized that, sorry. He has 19y reception and 23 negative yards last play. My bad.

Still had just 1 catch tho

Didn't need him.

Tua had wide open guys out of the backfield who had easy pitch and catch all day long.

Check out the Coleman thread. Nothing official of course, but it doesn’t sound good.

And without the Keon dropped INT and Josh's TD called back on a phantom call we win running away.

Crazy how the game works.

I don’t think we’re one player away from fixing that — especially since a big factor is that we play in nickel most of the time and rarely go into a heavy defense.

Dewayne Carter should help when he comes back.  But another run stuffer would be helpful against the likes of a Baltimore.

Beane needs to make an addition to that run defense, if we want to make a deep playoff run.

The issue is Jones is done. He has hit the wall. He is getting tossed like a cheap salad. And we know you can use Oliver's speed and aggression against him to get him outta position and ran into the hole.

Miami is not a playoff caliber team though.

Beating bad teams is fine, but you need to be able to replicate that against good teams.

Tua played great. Our pass rush just stunk today. Really surprised me. Disappointed w Von today, but maybe just some rust .

Personally, I think this was just a freak game.

But I'm still convinced despite being a good depth player, Hamlin needs to be upgraded.

Let's not forget Benford was out as well. He's a shut down corner and literally playing as good as ANY corner in the NFL.

You are moving the goal posts and saying stuff that does not matter.  Miami is a good team that has a bad record because of the injury to tua.

Its a week to week league.  Miami was playing for their season today.  If you want to complain about the defense that is fine but at least understand the philosophy behind the defense because it is going to continue.

I feel like we won this game in spite of McDermott and his worst urges.  The defense never seemed to get out of that "prevent, soft zone, let them get 7 yards a play" scheme that McD loves so much. He and Babich had zero answers and it didn't seem like they tried to find one. I'll wait for the film breakdowns from smarter people than me though.

Allen willed that win and Bass came in clutch. Good on the Bills to make it work.

If Coleman is out and Cooper isn't healthy we are in for a bad time.

With all do respect, I seriously doubt that the Bills game plan was to allow Miami to get 6.2 yards per play and punt just once in the entire game.
