I don’t know what you mean exactly in your argument. I appreciate your opinion.

You realize Allen dropping the ball uncontested. And kicking it accidentally forward for a first down and they go on to score a td - is different then the sea center snapping the ball 30

yards backwards on the goal line?

You're making the assumption we lose the Seahawks game and yesterday's game if we didn't have any breaks. That's why you say we are closer to 10-7.

Listening to a bit of the WGR coverage for the morning guys. I don't know who is who or care because it's mostly just dross and dreck, especially the pre diabetic dude with obvious jowls in the afternoon...anyway I digress.

Both were critical and said Allen played a bad game. I guess to be a sports broadcaster you don't have to know the nuances to know Allen had a fairly good game as a skill position level goes - but it won't stop a few people being influenced and running with this belief.

Allen plays a "bad game" there and the Bills lose. The 2024 Allen is, at the moment, the "doing enough to win" Allen. The beast in him comes out every now and then when required. It seems we're now at the stage where (for some) Allen needs to be some kind of footballing Incredible Hulk to be deemed to have had a good game where it wasn't that long ago him constantly being a footballing Incredible Hulk was seen as a bad thing.

I like this Allen.

It's crazy to me that some people are saying Josh played a bad, or even "just" a good game .

If it wasn't for Coleman popping up an INT that would have been a TD, and the lamest hold call on Torrence I've ever seen, Josh has 5 touchdowns with 0 INTs lol.

He was amazing once again yesterday

Allen had a very good game.  The INT was obviously not on him, and when he missed throws he missed them in safe spots.  He led the Bills to scores on five consecutive drives to end the game!!!

And if Cook doesn't drop an easy catch . . . Josh had a very good game overall.

True, that was probably another dropped TD there as cook most likely would have scored on that play

On the fins forum they think the refs were in the Bills favor all game (no mention of them stealing back to back TDs from the bills) and that poyer wouldn't have drawn a flag for that hit of the uniforms were reversed 😂. Can't make it up.

Yeah I just don't know about that take tbh

Granted- I only watched the first half live but we were getting into the right looks, checking into run when appropriate, basically calling a very cerebral script from QB spot to manage gameflow...I think folks might not be appreciating Allen winning a game w his head moreso than his arm/legs because it looks different from his typical 'good' game

Bills got flagged for unnecessary roughness leading with the head when the Dolphins RB ran into Rapp.

I’m not usually one to look at calls by the officials and be worried about the motives behind them but last night had me thinking something untoward was going on for the first time.

Reflecting back on the second half, wow both teams were executing at a high level on offense and taking what the defense gave them.  The Dolphins played about as well as they could have.....and still lost!  It was a great game with one team in utter desperation trying to do anything to beat their Dad but in the end it never works.

Even with the shin he had already made the line to gain.

That was obvious after watching the replay one time.

Looked to me like he was short but OK.

Wrist injury

yea  thanks  just read up on that.

 And Smoot needs surgery

thats a tough hit on the roster honestly

Hoping Ankou gets comfortable quickly with increased reps.

He got held egregiously all game long lol. That Miami oline today had an all time great performance they had no business having because they got away with literally everything

we tackled badly on top of that

I mentioned that multiple times during the game. Glad Bills overcame that

expected though.

Glad Bills did well against the pass , and that motion chicanery they used to pull

Allen had a fine game. this is my favorite Josh right now

Smart and still know he has all the moxie and skills to make it happen. The run up thread shows he does. 👍

and yea . you sure digressed right there ^ especially the "dross" comment. "dreck" was enough visualization for the sentence to be effective

😋

1st time?

all the games are biased. It about the money

But , the Rapp call was certainly odd

Such a small, picky correction, I  know.  But let's not minimize the degree of our ownership here!😉

This is the best Josh has played IMO. Certainly the most in control he has been of the offense since 2020 (when no fans definitely made it a little easier). I'm loving this version of Josh. It is what I have always wanted to see. Putting the cape on 3 or 4 times a game when it is really needed but the rest of the game trying really hard to play within the structure of the offense. For whatever reason he played a poor first half in Houston. But the other 8 and a half games he has been unbelievably good and consistent.

That four game stretch against KC, SF, DET and LAR is going to be decisive in the MVP battle and I don't totally rule Goff out if DET ends up 15-1 or something. But it is going to come down to Allen or Lamar IMO.
