Yea it was closer than I thought but likely only because of dpi…still hit Coleman right in the hands though while poyer is coming in for the hit 3rd and 9 single coverage shot to your big wr with a size advantage over the db isn’t a bad decision imo especially if that’s all that was close to available Edited November 3 by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote

May Day 10 Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Kudos to the dolphins. They came to play, had a great gameplay and the bills needed to scratch and claw for that one 1 4 Quote
Let's Go Buffalo Posted November 3 Posted November 3 I was on the road today, so I caught most of the game on the radio. I was driving through Kansas, and stopped at a convenience store wearing my Bills gear, and the store clerk behind the counter said...."Hey, Go Bills....I'm a Bills fan too," and he showed me his Bills lanyard/key chain. I told him that we were in a close one with Miami, as it was just after the 2 Minute Warning, and he looked at his phone and told me that Miami just scored to tie it up, and told him at least we still have some time on the clock to go win it with a field goal...............I got back in my car, and listened to Bass kick the game winning 61 yard field goal.....pretty cool! Go Bills! 7 9 Quote

If poyer wasn’t stupid, we are punting and Miami most likely is kicking a field goal for the win. Ball was in his hands and I think he may have had a chance to make the catch if Poyer isn't there. But like you said, we were most likely punting and giving them a chance. Thank you Jordan Poyer. 1 Quote

No guarantees, but a 4+ game lead in the division at mid-season is a pretty strong lead. 2) It basically finished the Dolphins for 2024. So sad too bad. 3) It gave the Bills some playoff breathing room as the schedule gets harder coming up. Over the next 5 games the Bills travel to Indy (4-4), host KC (7-0) and SF (4-4) before traveling to LAR (3-4) and Det (6-1). 5) It illustrated that the Bills can win close games and and can win without their "A" game. 6) It also illustrated that the Bills have things to work on and can get even better. Our rushing defense still needs significant work. We are also razor thin in the D backfield. 7) Despite missing the extra point, Bass' kick should give Bass more confidence and the Bills & the fans more confidence in him. That kick would have been good from 70. I think point 1 is why we saw a lot of the questionable officiating today 😂 1 Quote

What if I said the opposing team only stopped us on the opening series and let us move up and down the field all game just as their offense did to us? 1 Quote

Figster Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Hats off to the fearless play of the fish QB. Reminded me of some of the games between Dan Marino and Jim Kelly. Make no mistake though, the Bills are the Beast of the AFC East now. So go put a Guardian cap on it Tua... ...so you can ponder the situation safely... Go Bills!!!! 1 Quote

Coleman/ rookie wondercontestedcatchboy surely didn’t. Coaches didn’t. Bass got lucky but I still don’t trust him. This D isn’t going anywhere in the playoffs. You sound Ike a fun guy? We’ll recover from this loss…..wait we won. And a dead center kick from 61 yards out with 15 yards to spare is never “Lucky.” Move along not wanted here 2 1 Quote

Drove me nuts today. Judas priest QB's miss throws, big deal. Allen played fantastic today. The INT was 100% on Coleman and likely would have been a TD if he caught it. And don't forget on that last drive before half Cook dropped a likley TD pass. Throw in having a spectacular 25 yard TD run called back on a hold and three TD passes Allen was elite today. 1 1 Quote

Dion sort of threw his hands down as the guy fell, so that one was a bad call but maybe a gray area deal IMO. I saw nothing that Torrence did wrong on the next play, but maybe a different angle would show something. Their DL did get a lot of pressure on Allen. Edited November 3 by notpolian Quote

In Summary Posted November 3 Posted November 3 1 hour ago, Billz4ever said: At times, Ed seems unblockable and looks like Aaron Donald. Other times you don't even know he's out there. More often the latter though. Truly a mystery. I think Ed's success highly depends on the success of the other DT being able to push the OL into the backfield or at least hold his ground. ...and yet, 1-Tech is always a moderate priority at best. Time to draft a big boy next Spring. 1 Quote

I think they had two, missed kick is 1st and 10 and the minus 42 with one TO. Everyone can crap on McD but he OWNS Mcdaniel. 1 Quote
