of course not.  That is not the right way to view it.

They play a nickel two deep defense as a base and teams have numbers in the running game.  The bills are telling teams to run and daring them to have long sustained drives without mistakes.  That is very hard to do in the nfl.

miami did it today.  Still didn't win.

That is just not a sustainable strategy against the top offenses, as we’ve seen in the playoffs time and again.

The injuries stink but the real problem is that our two highly paid starters have been a big disappointment this year. DQ I kind of expected this and was against the signing, Oliver on the other hand I have no idea what's going on with him.

He got held egregiously all game long lol. That Miami oline today had an all time great performance they had no business having because they got away with literally everything

we tackled badly on top of that

No playoff team is beating any other playoff team if the opposing oline gets away with that much and it’s not no called evenly both ways.  That’s blowout win territory no matter what two teams you pick

Miami is soooooo cursed against us.

Their message board is hysterical right now

I was a kid growing up in the 70s. Have absolutely no pity for them.

Mad respect. Big tip of the hat to Tua.

He honestly nearly did the exact same thing that took him out last time they played going for that first down. I do wonder if there's any awkwardness or hesitation from defensive players when they see him running at this point. Like nobody would want to turn this guy into a vegetable.

They are really good at holding with their hands inside.

I have to give them credit for some solid coaching there :censored:

Ed's been a mystery.  Not sure if he's battling thru something else injury wise.

But it would be a huge pickup to get a monster 1 tech.  DQ is a high-end backup, low end starter with a beast beside him.

I just don't know if anyone is out there on the cheap (trade wise), that upgrades over DQ

Lots of arm tackles today. Pass rush totally non-existent. Couldn't stop the run.

Put all that together and you're really lucky to come out with a win.

Strategist has a valid point here ^^

Maybe those who were at the game have a better sense of this but I was wondering if the sun was an issue on the Coleman drop that led to the interception.  Cook had a drop with a ball at almost the exact angle a drive or two later.  I know....it's cook...but they looked like very similar misses.

Oh yea the holding doesn’t excuse the bad tackling but the defense was definitely getting hosed.  It wouldn’t have been pretty still even if you sprinkled in some well earned holds for the dolphins olinemen

They ran away from Oliver and at the over tackle all day.

DaQuan could not hold the POA and they eventually pulled him and were running Ankou out there in his spot during the second half.

It helped both positions, imo.

That Bass kick was truly special. That guy changed the entire trajectory of his professional life by making that kick.

That was my fear when they started the drive, they would run down the clock inside 30 seconds and score, go for 2 and essentially end the game.

When they scored with so much time left the 2point play came off the table, I believed we were gonna win at that point.

That was 100% a way the drought Bills would find to lose a game like that against a hated rival.
