Another Fan Posted November 3 Posted November 3 I pride myself on not being a Bills/Josh Allen homer but I definitely agree. I mean how many threads and posts during that awful 2001-2019 stretch against the Patriots did I see No Moral Victories as a theme. Because usually one of the 2 games against the Patriots those years were pretty close. Reverse logic this time around. Quote

That’s potential severe head and neck injury and premeditated kill shot. —Defensive game plan seems to be to let the Dolphins run for 13 yards a pop on every play from start to finish while also allowing Tua to complete every pass. — Start game planning for Achane. — Bass is a hero. He brought the colosseum to ecstasy. — Dolphins played like their season was on the line. This is the most physical I’ve seen them play in the McDaniel era. Give them credit for playing extremely physical. the good news is that it might have been. Phins are 2-6 with games against the Rams, Packers, Texans and Niners, plus a desperate Jets twice. With the tiebreaker secure the Bills need a combination of 4 wins or Phins losses to eliminate their chances at the division. 1 Quote
GunnerBill Posted November 3 Posted November 3 I left the game day thread in the first quater. When I stream on gamepass at home normally it can be about 20 seconds behind but it doesn't lead to a lot of play tipping. I am on vacation in Cyprus at the moment and for some reason the stream was more like 45 to 60 seconds behind and I was getting reactions before I'd seen plays. Anyway.... the stream was otherwise pretty good.... but on the winning kick it jerked after Bass hit it.... and I couldn't see but I still had Harlan's commentary thankfully. Great moment for Bass. You either definitely lose it right there or probably lose it anyway I think the game being tied made things a little more difficult for us honestly Agreed. I think the Dolphins made the right call. If they make the 2-pointer, then we are in 4-down mode for our whole last drive, giving us an even higher probability of getting at least a field goal. I think their best bet to win was either OT or a relatively quick stop (where we don't go for it on 4th down) and they get the ball back with a little time and a couple time outs and maybe they get the last second field goal. They really played well. Tua only had 3 incompletions. I enjoy dumping on the Dolphins as much as the next Bills fan, but you have to hand it to them. They played a hell of a game on the road, and might well have won it if Poyer doesn't gift us that conversion. (Though the gift might be expensive if Keon is out for a while.) 2 3 Quote

You only go for 2 if theres seconds left that is now knowing the result. i know analytics says take the xp, i was just being a doomer. i still can't believe bass drilled it Quote

Hill had 80 yds and Waddle because of the ending play finished with -4 🤣🤣🤣 You take that all day. It was the run D that was absolutely and pathetically terrible. 1 Quote

Thrivefourfive Posted November 3 Posted November 3 The defensive line is such a big problem. How many years now of not being able to generate consistent, game altering pressure? 1 1 2 Quote

Reminded me of the ball he threw into the dirt on the last drive of the heat game I believe he was protecting the ball on those low throws. 1 2 Quote

<bills4life> Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Beane needs to make an addition to that run defense, if we want to make a deep playoff run. 1 1 Quote
DapperCam Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Glad we won, still not feeling great against good teams. Defense stinks, and the offense seems to come out with a terrible game plan half the time. Quote

They basically give teams the run and force them to go with 10+ play drives where they have to make no mistakes. Today miami did that. Credit miami. That is one of the fastest most talented offenses in the league. Its not how, it's how many and right now its 7-2. onward and upward. 3 1 Quote

WIthout miami getting the coleman mistake for an interception and the odd back to back holdings this is a blowout. so your reasoning works both ways. 2 Quote
