No regrets from me on buying his jersey while he was here and I would still wear it whenever he had a standalone game after he left the Bills. Glad he is doing so well.

Stay tuned...he will eventually get his chance to play.  Fitz is a Buffalo legend.

Fitz is more beloved than Travis Kelce will be. Especially after the split and Taylor Swift’s “He’s got these weird moles and hair where it shouldn’t be” breakup album goes triple platinum.

Fitz is the hero we deserve.

Also, and, somewhat lesser known, he is Jack Nicklaus' grandson.

I thought that was fellow ex-Bill Nick O’Leary? 🤷‍♂️

No, revisionist history has revealed O'Leary is the grandson of the Lucky Charms leprechaun.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but I believe we may be talking about the lineage of Leprechaun Fardaring instead, best known for his Ducktales hijinx…

What a weird amount to fine someone. That extra 29 cents will really drive the point home.

My guess is that it's a percentage of his salary.

While this is true, it’s not altruistic on the NFL’s part. It’s collectively bargained.

The NFL saves money by not having to pay out of pocket to support former players. And they do so by fining current players. This is a cost saving measure - not a good deed.

Both the NFL's pension and health care provisions are paid for by the NFL and were negotiated with the NFLPA.   Under the 2020 CBA, the NFL currently contributes $2 billion to player benefits.  Player fines go into a fund to help out players who may have extraordinary medical bills, and that, too, was negotiated.

I think you have this backwards,  Fitz is Lucky's grandson, the resemblance is eerie.
