Popular Post stevestojan Posted November 3 Popular Post Posted November 3 (edited) No idea what the fine was for. But Fitz is a national treasure. (And Reid will probably get his own fine for that tweet…) Edited November 3 by stevestojan 8 1 41 Quote
Coastie Posted November 3 Posted November 3 No regrets from me on buying his jersey while he was here and I would still wear it whenever he had a standalone game after he left the Bills. Glad he is doing so well. 4 1 Quote
Saxum Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Fining is interesting. Sometimes player is penalized (i.e. AJE for unnecessary roughness on Aaron Rodgers) and NFL does not fine and sometimes there is no penalty Andreessen hit with helmet when he did not lead with it but there is a fine. Quote
boater Posted November 3 Posted November 3 He gets the Fitzy Seal of Approval, that's a big freak'in deal. Now I know the kid is one to watch. He's going places. 1 1 Quote
JohnNord Posted November 3 Posted November 3 The post game fines are such a joke, especially when penalty was called. Fining Buffalo Joe on that awesome tackle is a joke 1 2 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted November 3 Posted November 3 What a weird amount to fine someone. That extra 29 cents will really drive the point home. 6 1 Quote

Come with a description of why you're being fined and a video of the play You are also allowed to dispute it... Now.. the NFL also does not make money off of these fines... They are not getting rich off of finding millionaires They take the fine money.. and redistributed back to NFL retired players who need assistance.. and grassroots NFL movements from the high school level down Sure fine suck.. but they go to a good place 1 2 1 Quote
QLBillsFan Posted November 3 Posted November 3 The runner was slipping and then Joe made contact. Complete joke by the NFL! Meanwhile let’s play Thursday, Monday, and on concrete turf in England. Player safety! 2 4 Quote
NickelCity Posted November 3 Posted November 3 (edited) That's a bad decision. I was sitting in section 230 which gave a perfect broadside view of the hit. Well done Reid for supporting him. Edited November 3 by NickelCity Quote

It’s collectively bargained. The NFL saves money by not having to pay out of pocket to support former players. And they do so by fining current players. This is a cost saving measure - not a good deed. 1 1 2 Quote
Goin Breakdown Posted November 3 Posted November 3 The NFL was and is a better place because of Fitz. Freekin love that dude 1 3 Quote

Breakout Squad Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Probably would be smarter of Fitz to just send him a check. Did you know Fitz is a Harvard graduate. He also wore his wedding ring while playing. 😂 2 Quote

Disagree about Mondays for you could say thing about Saturday evenings and if you push it teams flying coast to coast. Teams have a disadvantage on Mondays but it is made up following week. 3 minutes ago, Breakout Squad said: Probably would be smarter of Fitz to just send him a check. Definitely not a perfect system And obviously andresen is not making much money compared to his peers... He will earn north of 790,000 this year... So yeah a $5,000 fine for a rookie undrafted guy is a bit much for not a dirty play But making the roster he did earn a nice chunk of change 26 minutes ago, Einstein said: While this is true, it’s not altruistic on the NFL’s part. Even though they can allocate their own money to retired players 1 Quote
Drey Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Riq Woolen was fined for taunting Keon Coleman with a throat slash (not penalized). It's bad enough that Keon mossed him two plays later, but to also have to fork over cash... 1 2 Quote
