This poor innocent squirrel represents the persecution of all the good men and women who never use pronouns he/him, they/them after their name. The squirrel never used pronouns. If the government could murder the squirrel, they could murder all the good pronounless people too. The story of poor peanut is the story of massive government overreach into our homes. If the black booted government thugs could take peanut out of his home, they could take any of our squirrels, chipmunks or mice out of our homes. I think I hear something scratching the ceiling in my attic. Who do I call? Poor peanut represents the struggle of all hard working blue collar people against the big bad government machine that is trying to keep them down. Rage Against the Machine! How dare they! Violence against one rodent is violence against all rodents! Squirrels, chipmunks, mice and rats unite! Together they can stand strong against government tyranny! Maybe the story is about how stupid people are to get so excited over nothing. Meanwhile Peanuts owner gets his moment of fame to capitalize on it all with his go fund me to get rich. I doubt he is really sad about how this turned out. At this rate, he is going to be invited to the White House in January when Trump moves in. Trump will probably name him Director of the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Have you ever had a pet?
