Old Coot Posted November 1 Posted November 1 On the topic of Josh's running, he doesn't seem to run with the same verve as in past years. He did not get caught from behind previously. He does now. Is he a step slow or just looking to get some yards and slide? Probably looking to slide. Quote

Its great they know what everyone else already knows. Why put it out there? Thanks for letting us know what you're focusing on. I hope they absolutely ruin the Dolphins on Sunday. 3 hours ago, SoonerBillsFan said: I don't get the infinite stupidity of the Fins coaching staff. Why? Just why even put that out there? They must be drinking that stupid juice A. Rogers is on. 2 hours ago, hondo in seattle said: We all know this is - sometimes - true. But why say it publicly? It's like he's convincing Josh to think more about ball security than he normally does, which would be bad for the Fins. Out of context as was pointed out... but also a sign of desperation possibly. It's gamesmanship and consciously or not, Weaver is attempting to play mind games in hopes of planting a seed of hesitancy in Josh's game. As others have pointed out, it's just as likely to backfire and simply increase Josh's focus and resolve. 2 hours ago, Saxum said: If you carry your load of bread like a football you get squished bread unless it is a hard type of bread like hardback or baguette. Old Coot Posted November 1 Posted November 1 It's possible that the DC was asked about Josh and didn't want to give anything away so he mentioned something relevant but that everyone knows. Quote

QLBillsFan Posted November 1 Posted November 1 (edited) I think a logical coach brings this up in player meetings. He doesn’t poke the bear who has owned his team for a bit. Why give the Bills any additional motivation but it’s great. The Bills will be prepared to play against a rival who have a hard time not talking. 41 minutes ago, Old Coot said: On the topic of Josh's running, he doesn't seem to run with the same verve as in past years. He’s running less due to his wrist injury in game one. Not sure he’s just trying to be smarter with his runs. I don’t see a step lost or getting run down. But if you have examples I’ll check them out. Edited November 1 by QLBillsFan Quote
Malazan Posted November 1 Posted November 1 I guess I'm getting old. I tend to think you should win before you talk trash. Quote
BigAl2526 Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Josh may be tempted to hold the ball in one hand because his hands are so big. I'd like it if he were a bit more careful though. Quote

More than one defender has concluded, that’s easier said than done And yes, he’s correct, Allen does hang the ball out there like a loaf of bread. 3 hours ago, Alphadawg7 said: Hes not wrong on how he holds the ball. It hasn't helped the Dolphins yet though. Dumb comment..Allen is gonna ***** this dudes soul on Sunday..like he always does to Miami -----weird, its censoring me from saying "s n a t c h this dudes soul" hahaha----- I better go add this to the Tom Brady under fire thread as another word you apparently cant say anymore either 😂 It’s not recent, s n a t c h has been part of the naughty words filter here for like a decade Edited November 1 by Beck Water Quote

MJS Posted November 1 Posted November 1 The Dolphins should not be talking about anyone, especially the guy who has completely OWNED you and gets AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors nearly every time he plays you. What morons. Quote
