Once opponents enter the red zone, that’s when the Bills start to buckle down and they have been suffocating with their backs against the goal line, as the Seattle Seahawks traversed to the Bills’ 3-yard line or closer three times and came away with one touchdown in Buffalo’s 31-10 win Sunday. The Bills are giving up touchdowns on 44.4% of red zone trips — 33% over the last four games — which is the team’s best mark since Sean McDermott became head coach in 2017, allowing fewer than 50% just once (2022) during that time.

It could be called bend-but-don’t-break defense, but it’s really a game of chicken, with the Bills banking on opponents breaking first.

He does some do diagnosing of plays although most can be found elsewhere like TwitterX and YouTube.

There was an interesting article how they are currently #1 in defense this year with a light box.  They use a two cover shell as you guys know which blankets overwatch for the pass, and the light shellis the best at stopping the run and short to intermediate passes.  They’ve drilled this into them since camp d it’s working.  What we don’t need is any more significant injuries.  That torpedoed us against the Bengals and Chiefs the last two years.

Not surprising, they have been playing that way for years now, other teams are playing catch up in that regard.
