Don Otreply Posted October 31 Posted October 31 So we want the jets to win? Okay then, although I just threw up in my mouth a little…, 🤮 go jets, I guess, 1 Quote
Bill51390 Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Texans loss will be more beneficial unless you foresee the Jets competing with us for the division. 1 Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted October 31 Posted October 31 (edited) Just looked at the line and it's now Houston+2! Why do so many people think the Jets are winning this? Losing Diggs? Edited October 31 by PromoTheRobot Quote

Augie Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Jets winning hurts the Texans AND the Jets, imo. I want them in limbo so they can’t quite get up high enough in the draft to replace the King of Darkness. 1 Quote
DrBob806 Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Doesn't matter really. I look at it this way- we all thought having KC at home in the playoffs would turn things in our favor last season. It didn't. So the Bills are going to (most likely) have to beat a combo of KC, Houston, Ratbirds, Steelers and potentially some unknown out of Denver, Indy, LA Chargers in the playoffs. Yes, securing at least one home game is vital, but in the end, it's all about how they play on that particular day. That's how I see it. The Bills are certainly good enough to beat those above teams, but they've taught us they also aren't. Scoring 10 points against an anemic Baltimore defense still irritates me. Call me confused lol. The Jets only bad loss is NE. The others are all vs good teams and most were close games: SF, DEN, MIN, BUF, PIT. They were within a score in 3 of those. With that and the roster many are not ready to write them off yet. Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Huh? How is this a question, obviously we want the Jets to win. 2 Quote
Steptide Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Jets, but I highly doubt they win. I mean unless something dramatic changed this week with the jets, I can't see Rogers beating a really good, younger Texans team Quote
fergie's ire Posted October 31 Posted October 31 NI know it's probably best for the Bills if Jets win but hate Rodgers and jets so much still want them to lose. Don't want any signs of life and the implosion to continue. My fantasy is Rodgers gets pounded, goes full Petrman in 1st half and does the retire at halftime thing. Quote

HappyDays Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Another benefit I thought of the Jets winning - I want as many teams as possible vying for the 7th seed. Right now it feels like Pittsburgh (or Baltimore?) and Denver have very good odds to be the 5th and 6th seed. The last team I want in as the 7th seed is the Bengals. Jets, Chargers, or Colts are the dream scenario. 1 Quote

But it doesn't mean that much more. I want to attend a Buffalo Bills Super Bowl. I don't care where they win an AFCCG. 1 Quote

The Bills will have a better record, IMO, in the next 9 games. The Jets have a relatively easy schedule outside of the Bills game late in the year. I hate the Jets with a passion and want to see them fold quickly and quit on the remainder of their season. No need to give them momentum. So you honestly believe the Jets are more likely to finish stronger than the Texans? To each their own, but man, i don't see this happening at all. Jets are a disaster and it's getting worse. But don't get me wrong, i'd LOVE to root for the Texans as i loathe the Jets. Edited October 31 by Blackbeard Quote

Maybe you’re forgetting that the Bills were a holding penalty away from falling behind to the Jets 27-20 in the 4th quarter a couple weeks ago? A jets loss tonight and I see them imploding. A win and a couple more after…and I see them being a contender for a wildcard. The Texans have a tough schedule. They will lose at least three more games. Edited October 31 by Beast 1 Quote
ndirish1978 Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Nice to go into a game knowing it's win win for us. Either loss helps us, even though a Texans loss helps us more. Quote

This has very little to do with anything. I guess just agree to disagree. I DEFINITELY don't see the Jets, sitting currently at 2-6, as making a wild card. Quote
