I see many pulling for the Jets. My train of thought nis a tad different.

Easiest way to make the playoffs is win the division.  So clinch the division and I'll worry about seeding another day.

Also seeding is overrated. The bye week would be nice to rest and heal guys but if you're not the #1 seed it's really no big deal if you're the 2,3 or 4. Bills last 2 seasons were ended at home.

I don't think I want their D looking that good. Unless the Texans look like actually garbage on offense without Diggs or Collins, then I'm all for it

My guess is the Jets will see a lot of Mixon.

I want an AFC championship game to attend at home.

I want the division over as early as possible. That gives you such an advantage and if we can do it pre bye that’s insanity. Let the Dolphins and Jets lose as much as possible. Houston isn’t that good. They are going to get losses

Im rooting against the Jets.  I love the train wreck, and honestly, the worse it gets, the worse it will be in the forseeable future for them...

The Jets also have a lot of *easy games coming up and could go on a mini-run.  Don't want to deal with hearing about that.

Houston has a number of difficult games left.  They are going to get their losses.

Yep, this is my thinking too. If Bills didn't want to have to rely on the Jets beating the Texans, then they should have beat the Texans themselves.

And the Jets losing w/ Rogers at the helm is just...glorious.

Jets. #1 Because they aren't making the playoffs and it hurts their draft position and #2 the Bills want to be as high as possible in the seedings

I'm confused by this Thursday night game, jets are so far behind they should not be a worry but for playoff positioning the Texans are ahead of us.... So realistically who do we want to win on TNF

Jets as gives Houston an in Conference loss and possibly one more loss than us. It also hurts the Jets as they end up drafting lower in the draft as now they rank 5th but could fall out of top 10 depending how the rest of the games work out.

Root for the Texans to lose as many games as possible before Nico Collins is back. Man I wish the Colts had made the QB switch one week sooner. Texans have a sneaky difficult schedule to end the season - they still have Lions, Cowboys, Chiefs, and Ravens. I think 1-3 in those games is likely. If they also lose tonight that puts them at 6 losses on the year and I would feel very confident we end ahead of them in the standings in that scenario.

But hey if the Jets lose that will still be a good result because we'll basically lock up the division with a win on Sunday. No bad outcomes tonight.

we can hope the texans hit some bumps now with injury but rest up and get well just in time to beat the ravens and chiefs.

the cheifs only have 1 truly difficult game left - us.

Jets, not really close imo.

I should say though, I don't think it matters too much. If Jets win they still miss the playoffs. And if Houston wins I still think they fall off a bit and end up finishing behind Buffalo.

The jets going on a "mini-run" is the best for us.  They won't challenge us for division this year, but some amount of success increases the chances of them repeating mistakes next year.

Yeah I could see us ending the season 14-3 and still ending up the #2 seed behind the 16-1 Chiefs. I guess you hope they lose one of their remaining divisional games, maybe in Denver, and then hopefully the Texans or Steelers find a way to beat them. It's hard to see them ending the season any worse than 14-3 and even that record is assuming we beat them.

If we have to go to Houston in the divisional round I am not worried (I know, we lost there already but still not worried, Baltimore would be a different discussion) and I just LOVE the Jets losing and our enormous division lead.  So hoping the Jets lose again but ok with either result because I don't exactly love Houston either.
