The Jets would need to go something like 7-1 the rest of the way AND Buffalo would have to lose 5 of 9 in order for the Jets to pass the Bills in the division. There's no chance that both of those things happen

There IS a chance - critical injury for season for a Bills player.  It happens without even being hit stepping wrong especially on turf.

Dang Texans are really ass

Not so sure.

Nico comes back, Fairbairn with a horrible night.  Biggest thing, short week travelling to Houston losing Diggs to a season ending injury.  Not a team in thr best of spirits.

They'll lose a few more, but they aren't "ass" and have a very good defense.

Never get why teams take the fg there. I get it if you’re at like the 30 but by the goal line?

Especially on 3rd down…made no sense

Because they only had 2 timeouts entering that drive they should have kicked the FG immediately.

Have you seen Hail Mary’s recently?

At least you are likely to get the ball back.  You cannot count on getting an onside kick.

We are the only team the jets play with a winning record the rest of the year. Don’t be shocked if they run off some wins.

Getting Riddick and Adams definitely helps. I can see them making the playoffs still.

Wow first off what a horrible game.  But for weeks I’ve been hearing how Houston is a Super Bowl contender.  Remember the narrative about Stefon Diggs wanting to go to Houston because they have a better chance at winning a Super Bowl?

Stroud was pressured bad and not having Diggs or Collins hurt for sure.  But he took some inexcusable sacks and fumbled the football in the red zone.    He also completed like 50% of his passes.

Between this game and the game against Buffalo (with the exception of Q1), I’m

not too impressed with any facet of the Texans football team.

They’ll probably still win the AFC South and Collins will probably help the offense.  But I don’t see the team coming anywhere near the lofty expectations set in the preseason.
